I Love the Maui Curl Quench + Coconut Nut Oil Curl Smoothie for thick curly hair! My hair needs a lot if moisture. The first photo (November 2019) with the short hair is how I kept my hair for 30- years. When the Pandemic hit, I didn't get a haircut for a year. So I decided to let it grow. My daughter never saw my hair long, so I let it grow. Now that its long, I'm sure I spent $600 looking for a product that will add moisture & not flake & it does not get flaky at all. When I braid it, they look great & when I wear it down, my hair is bouncy & stays soft. I'm mixed with Native American & Black. I don't color it or straighten it & get a trim every 6- weeks. I have long, thick, curly hair. However as the day goes on the weight of it pulls the curls more into waves. This Maui stuff is not overly heavy, smells great and helps with that definition right out of the shower and holds my curls into the next day. This leave in conditioner has done wonders for my hair. I put it on while my hair is fresh, clean, and wet from the shower. I then apply the product and put my hair in a cotton t-shirt and let it do its magic. It is very moisturizing. I have south asian curly hair.

love maui moisture and love that it's available here on amazon. using the cream now as the gel makes my hair "crunchy" and the cream right out of the shower after lightly drying my hair is soft and not so crunchy. holds my curls instead of them being frizzy. the scent is okay like it better with the gel but still fragrant and just a little is needed. i have shoulder length hair and natural curls. did try it on dry hair and not the same results but still was able to control the frizz after a long humid day here in florida. ... show more

I can’t say enough great things about this stuff! Brought my hair COMPLETELY back to life, and I have salt-and-pepper hair which is not the easiest to control. I have big, beautiful, soft curls all day, every day! It’s the best investment in my hair that I have ever made!!

I have wavy curly hair, I have been using this with the bowl method. It doesn’t leave my hair crispy or greasy as some creams can do. Smells great, texture when using has a good consistency to it. Would buy it again.
