I’ve worn the Makaha for years. This is my new favorite. Super light, very comfortable. Doesn’t feel like you’re wearing any sunglasses at all. Notepads large enough to hold the glasses off my face with my flat Asian nose. It’s true, the frames are thin and flexible, so you need both hands to put on the sunglasses, but it’s worth the minor inconvenience. I want these in multiple colors with the crystal frame. Perfect!

Cons: glasses feel kinda chintzy out of the box. The arms are like a plastic tubing type material (if you’ve ever worked in a lab you know what I mean). They don’t squeeze your head tightly so a strong wind (boating, biking,etc) could blow them off. They don’t feel like $200 but what do I know 😁 The lenses are not that dark. On a white sand beach in bright sunlight they might not be dark enough for some. Good for being in a cabana or under an umbrella or on a hazy day. Just my opinion. I’m using them for driving glasses, so perfect for that. Pros: the same thing that makes them feel chintzy also makes them feel good. They’re the lightest glasses I’ve ever owned. You don’t even know they’re on. The lenses are very clear. I feel like I’m wearing prescription glasses. They look great. Not too big and the blue color is perfect.

I LOVED these sunglasses. Unfortunately.... the SAME day I received them in the mail they flew off my head and into the lake while I was boating. I really though they would have floated since they are so light weight BUT it was fun while it lasted. Highly recommend these sunglasses! Just be careful when you are in the boat.

Company tech support is very responsive but REFUSED to send me a replacement temple because they want to make a science project out of removing a single screw and replacing the temple. Will not buy from Maui again because of this. I didn't spend $200 to be put through this.
