I got this LiamLiam waterproof mattress topper about three months ago and immediately put it to the test. After putting it on a bed, I poured water directly onto it to see if the water would penetrate it and get on the mattress. It did not. I then did a "make sure" test and poured much more water on this waterproof mattress topper to make sure water could not get through it, and no water got through it onto the mattress. In these circumstances, this product is definitely waterproof and will help prevent liquids from getting onto a mattress and staining a mattress. This topper is not thick and is perhaps only 1/6 of an inch thick or less. I got it in the queen size and it fit the queen size mattress just fine. It can be washed in the washing machine and used again and again, but I would not dry it in the drying machine because the bottom of such seems to be like a thick plastic and potentially could melt in a dryer on high heat (thus, maybe low heat or tumble dry when drying it in a dryer would be okay). I strongly recommend this as a waterproof mattress topper, but not at all as a padded mattress topper. It has virtually no padding to it. This product was selling for about $20 dollars at the time I ordered and obtained such, and for a reusable and washable waterproof mattress topper, I think such is a fair price and a decent deal.

This waterproof pad is a really nice one. It has a very small quilted pattern, the fabric is really soft and flexible. It doesn't feel like a waterproof pad. It just feels like a soft cover for the mattress. One of the nicest features about this pad is that it does not make any noise, like crinkling plastic. It also has generous corners so it should stay put in place on the mattress. This mattress topper would be perfect in any bedroom for children or adults, it's comfortable, quiet and waterproof.
