I don't usually write reviews, but felt this product was that good. I am a coffee lover, but have always thought that coffee made at home had a bitter after-taste (even quality coffee). This machine had such good reviews, so I thought I would order one and try it. The very first latte I made was delicious. I was pretty easily able to figure out assembly and operation, which I'll admit is rare for me. I've since made cappuccinos and lattes, and enjoyed every one. The automatic milk frother produces a light and airy foam that is delicious, and takes all the guess work out of the equation. I would definitely recommend this machine for anyone who enjoys coffee, but doesn't want to learn the more intricate steps of less automatic espresso machines. This is the best espresso machine I’ve had. Super simple and makes great coffee. When you make the espresso, it has the creama on top, which is what you want and which most less expensive espresso makers can’t do. The foaming mechanism works incredibly well and snaps in and out, so you can leave the canister in the refrigerator for the next time you use it. What I like best was, a problem developed about six months after I bought the machine and the company helped me troubleshoot and when that didn’t work sent me a replacement maker. UPDATE: The seller did finally reach out after being notified of this review. They provided instructions on what to try and inserting a 0.2mm needle into the air intake seemed to clear any blockage and the frothing is working again. Note that there is nothing in the manual to try inserting a needle into the air intake in any of the cleaning/deep cleaning. Regardless, at least they were finally responsive and it is working again. Initially I loved this machine and it worked flawlessly. A relatively good cappuccino for a beginner and semiautomatic machine. However, after just 6 months it is no longer frothing milk. I have been fastidious about cleaning everything after use. I have done all of the cleaning procedures indicated in the product manual many times. The machine is making a loud squealing noise when trying to froth the milk. No froth comes out, just milk. Amazon closed return of the product a little after a month of purchase and any product support 3 months after purchase. I have tried contacting the company directly for customer support. There is no phone number to talk to anyone, only their online customer service. I have tried several times and have not received a response. Does not work properly. Empties the milk in cappuccino mode and does not heat milk in latte mode. Supposed to be able to store the detachable milk container but requires you to clean milk system after EACH use which requires the use of said container. Bought a 5 cup Mr Coffee at Walmart for 15$ that works better. Thinking of turning this machine into a planter. Save your money. ... show more

I love this expresso machine. Have used it every day since I received it. It is easy to use and easy to clean. The frother works perfectly. Delivers the perfect Latte or Cappuccino. I use a vanilla oat milk designed for the at home Batista. Definitely helps deliver a texture that is always perfect. Also love that it has a clean cycle for the Frother, and does not require any remaining milk to be removed during cleaning. Run the clean cycle and put froth milk container with its remaining milk into the refrigerator till next use. Also you will find in the instructions, that the temperature range is programable. I set mine to the highest, prewarn the system by running one expresso cycle before adding coffee, and prewarm my cup in microwave with water in it, before using. Doing this, I find it delivers my drink hot enough for my enjoyment. I read some reviews that complained about temperature .. but doing as I described above; I found it delivers my drink plenty hot. There is also a way to customize the presets, to your liking, described in the instructions, though I find the defaults to be perfect. For the price, I couldn't be happier, and my morning lattes are a pure pleasure. ... show more

    • Good machine but does not last long.
We loved this when it was first purchased and have used it at least once a day until it just stopped working. Purchased is September of 2023 and stopped working in March of 2024. Seems to be leaking water and water seeping into the display. Super sad about it, was great while it lasted.

    • Froth tastes like plastic.
The actual espresso component is really nice. That's why it gets 3 stars. But the milk frother is not well designed. It makes basically 50% foam. Which is annoying but not the reason I decided to return it. The froth literally smells like plastic. I gave it an honest shot for a week but it's just not what I'm looking for. The smell did go away but I couldn't get over the fact that it was moving through a plastic component. You can't control how much milk you get, you can't control how much espresso you get, and it basically makes a cappuccino every time. The latte button is just a bigger cappuccino. Like it literally cannot make a latte. If all you're looking for is an automatic cappuccino machine, and the plastic smell doesn't scare you, then I would actually recommend it. But not if you want it for anything else. Especially lattes. ... show more
