I've used this for years and IT'S THE BEST!! My hair loves this product. It fully protects my hair when using my straightener, leaves it shiny, and healthy. It eliminates my frizz and after going through striping my hair to get to my natural gray I hadn't straightened because I was worried about damage. I didn't have this the first couple of times and my hair was stiff and coarse, but once I used this my smooth, soft, flowy hair was back!! A must use for all hair types!! I’m a senior with gray thick hair. I spray it on before I blow dry my hair and it really makes a differences. All the little hairs that stick up sometimes in gray hair are much better when I use this, particularly if your hair is thick and gets frizzy. It smells nice too. I use it on my “off day” of washing my hair. I spray it on my “bed head” and blow dry it (doesn’t take much) and it smooths it out. I use it on my 9 year old granddaughter before I French braid a ponytail for her, and it takes the tangles out and the dampness makes it easier to comb and separate. Highly recommend ... show more

I bought this thinking that for the price it would be better than L'oreal. It works exactly the same, speaking only for myself. I've use both products in the same flat-iron session. The only difference is the Matrix product costs about 3 times as much.
