Matane makes the best flushmount lights, hands down. The bang for buck is insane. I have them everywhere in my house and the brightness these lights pack is insane. They look pretty decent too. NGL, the wife did make me mount some other nicer looking brands, but they all had some issue or the other. Either too dim, or some funky issue like some delay turning on. These are really well made and easy to mount. They have a helper cable to give your hands some rest while mounting the lights. Wanted to replace my two old kitchen lights after remodeling the kitchen. Old lights just didn't provide much light plus they hung down and used bulbs. These however are nice and bright and there are no bulbs to replace. Plus I like the low profile and the minimalistic design, very sleek. I also like that you have three choices for the light intensity. I can't remember which one I choose but I will say that my kitchen is nice and bright. Installation was a piece of cake. The hard part was me removing the old '80s built-in fluorescents and patching the holes up with drywall. I bought 2 x 4-packs. I used 3 in one bath and 5 in the larger one. I did a little mini-makeover of both bathrooms and in the process removed the old fluorescent lighting and replaced with these LEDs. I can't believe how nice it turned out. It completely transformed the bathrooms. They are so bright! I used the medium setting. The high temp setting was just too overwhelming. These lights are very easy to install, and they look great - almost as subtle as recessed lighting, but without all the hassle of cutting into sheetrock, etc. They have adjustable light settings, but you do have to set that on the light itself, not from the switch. Easy to install; they brighten even dark hallways like ours, and are adjustable in the color scheme. The picture is set at 4000 Lumen. A shame they didn't come in a pack of 3, now I have to donate the 4th one.
