I bought this 4 weeks ago. It was easy to set up alone which is one of the reasons I purchased. It came with 4 weight bags to fill with rocks, sand etc. I used it for 4 Saturdays for a farmer's market. No storm, no heavy wind but it was a little breezy. A gust blew and literally lifted the tent and it went flying. I had all 4 weights on it plus I added 2 milk jugs filled with concrete for added weight. The front legs on the canopy twisted into a heap and bent the frame on the sides as well. The metal is very thin and the legs felt wobbly from the get go. The top was very thin as well and ripped the first time I set it up. I should've returned immediately but I needed it in a hurry and had already returned another canopy. Waste of money! Only used 4 times! ... show more

Canopy arrived double boxed and undamaged. The carrying pack with wheels is comfortable to wear as a back pack at least for short distances. Weight at around 25 pounds is accurate. Pluses....fairly easy to assemble and disassemble if you follow the instructions. Convenient size for sitting underneath with regular height chairs...plenty of head room for sitting. Fabric seems well sown and durable. Also a good size canopy to fit over a picnic table for shade. Reasonable sized footprint for sharing beach and outdoor space with others. Some products we considered took up almost 3 times the land area for a similar shade area because of the sandbag/staking system. We could in good conscience buy such a beach hog to use at shared public amenities. Minuses....folding the fabric for storage is a pain. There are no instructions included for that. We ended up folding it like a fitted bed sheet and mashing the trapped air out of the bundle. There are no instructions on using the included sand/ballast stability bags. The assembly and disassembly are challenging for one person. With two people it's very easy. All in all, this seems a good value and serves our needs well. We have no experience with durability but will post a follow-up if we have issues over the coming months. Unfortunately, the leg extension on one side of the assembly has failed after less than a dozen uses. One of the segments cannot be extracted from it's nested location inside a larger segment. ... show more

We purchased this canopy to take to our son's baseball games. I ordered the 8x8 and received the 6x6 (which I didn't know was an option) it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The 6x6 is just tall enough to sit 4 under it comfortably. At just over 5ft. It's not made for standing. The reduced height works well on windy days keeping it firmly planted to the ground. After a little practice I can setup and take it down in just under 6min. By myself and it folded up takes up less room than our chairs. The top is made of a very light weight material. I was skeptical of it at first but after over a dozen uses it is holding up great. ... show more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY... The worse tent I've ever seen. I took it out the box right off the back missing bag to store tent and transport. I put the cover all together set it up and 5 min later the tent snapped every single leg off. There was barley any wind at all it was 75 out. Lasted 5 min. This product should be deleted off Amazon and banned for selling very dangerous. Now Amazon wants me to ship the thing back all broken with sharp metal sticking out. But I want my money back so I will be doing that. ... show more

This has been a lesson in complete frustration. 1) can’t use if you are alone takes two people 2) cover is not rainproof 3) sand weight bags are not enough I found it blown across my yard one morning with a broken leg 4) tarp collected water (overnight strong rain) and created a depression in the tarp cover and the entire thing crashed and broke all kinds of supports. I have had it 2-3 weeks and it has been a nightmare! ... show more

Arrived on time. Not too heavy. ~4'4" x 7" x 7" folded up in the bag (in case you're like me and are wanting to stuff it in your car). Bag has two handles on the side and one on the end. The side handles are especially helpful when putting it in and taking it out of the bag. Stands up on end by itself. Wheels roll well enough for plastic luggage type wheels. I really like the sand bags that come with it. They're thick and have velcro attachments, it also has a strap to carry it once it's full. The stakes are standard, you get 8 in a nice little bag. The canopy is a nice dark grey. 1 year warranty stated on the paperwork. I was able to put it up alone. Had a very small dent in the top pole from the center post, just have to remind myself not to compress it too much. Great value for the money. 8'x8'11" ... show more

I received the item, first thing I noticed was that my bag didn’t have the additional mesh pocket as advertised, I contacted the company, who responded quickly and they stated that the mesh bag in the picture was an oversight on those part and they would update the item to reflect that. Apparently the bag with the pocket had been discontinued since C-19 ( is the reason the rep gave me). Anyway, they gave me a discount and stated that they would update the pictures on the item and as of this time (4/30/21) they have NOT changed the picture so be advised that the bag will be a standard one. That said, canopy is easy to setup and take down. It’s for our trip to the beach in a month so I will update this if I have any problems, unlit seems sturdy! ... show more

I was looking to replace an older EZ-Up canopy. Actually, I just needed the canvas, as the structural part was still okay. Unfortunately, they no longer made the size of replacement canopy I required, and I found that buying a new one of that brand was just too expensive for my budget. After a lot of research ,I found this canopy from MASTERCANOPY and decided to purchase it. It is very well made, relatively easy to put up (2 people, maybe 15-20 minutes). I especially like the vent at the peak and also the fact that the "feet" that touch the ground are metal, not plastic like some of the other less expensive brands. BTW it comes with a nice storage bag and also sandbags that you can fill if you choose to use them. ... show more
