The manufacturer says not to erect this if windy. I say if you erect correctly it will take the wind. There has been up to 50mph gusts where I'm camping and in the morning when I come out of my tent, thanks Cabelas, the canopy is still there. It is a bit of a struggle for one person in erecting but you just have to be creative. I wish they would quiet down the metal connections for that woke me up many times during the night. This canopy is very easy to put up with one person! I love the center pop up mechanism which is a game changer. We use the bags with rocks or sand to secure it. It’s not the most solid of quality like most of these types, would not trust in windy conditions but breezy is fine. But it does the job, great shade and love the aqua green color and easy install and put away too. Took off one star because the zipper broke on the bag, still useable though. ... show more

I used this tent and some tarps to keep the sun off of me while I built a retaining wall. This was during the months of July and August, which are the hottest months where I live. The tent was outside 24/7 for over two months. It held up to the wind, rain and sun. I was able to set it up myself, but it would be easier if two people did it. Very easy to set up and take down, and it comes with ground stakes (grass) and empty sand bags (parking lots). Not as sturdy as my old pop-up, but not as expensive, either. The carry sack doesn’t have a lot of room to spare, and it takes two people to put it back on……

Ordered this tent for my fiancé for Father’s Day the tent itself is nice and he does it job. We’ve even been out in the rain and it just slides right off the tent cover.
