This canopy is well made and the framework feels very sturdy and strong, while the fabric is tough and durable. The awning arms work well and are a great feature. I wish it also had a top vent. Also I was disappointed to discover that unlike the photos it DOES have branding on it; not a deal breaker but a clean, unbranded cover would be preferred. The instructions indicate needing a partner to set it up, but I was able to do it by myself with a little more effort. The trick is getting inside and pushing up on the center post until it locks instead of trying to pull the legs apart. That said, the instructions that came with mine were incorrect and incomplete. Specifically, there were two major differences: (1) Nowhere does it mention needing to unscrew the awning arm from the leg in order to put the cover on. It has a wing nut so it is easy to do, and fairly obvious, but I felt like I must be doing something wrong because the instructions failed to mention it. Don't lose the little black plastic cap when you unscrew it! It is not glued on. (2) The take down instructions are WRONG for my model. There is no latch on the legs to unlock the ceiling. Attempting to fold it down without unlocking the ceiling WILL damage the framework. And there's no obvious button or way to pull on the ceiling to collapse it, either. Finally I figured out you must TWIST the end of the center pole and the ceiling will unlock for take down. EDIT: Also worth noting that the "sandbags" are literally just bags... no sand. So you still have to buy actual sandbags to put in their "sandbags". ... show more

I received the Master Canopy 10x10 w/awnings During set up I realized the corners of the canopy were sewn and not velcro as illustrated in the owners manual. I needed to remove the awning supports to get canopy on. This was not a big deal however due to this design if I ever need to remove the canopy to clean/for maintenance it makes it more inconvenient. My previous tent of same design (different brand) had velcro seems on the corners Otherwise the tent/canopy function fine. Caution though…these canopies are NOT built to withstand stronger winds/gusts. ... show more

I just put our canopy up for a week long holiday. We will see how durable it is. It was a fairly easy job other than 2 things. Getting the center to latch was really hard. And second which probably explains my first difficulty, I didn't get the supports for the awning routed through the holes in the canopy top properly so I had to take them apart at the end and fix it. I'm glad there were wing nuts on them. The instructions weren't clear on this subject at all and the video doesn't really show either of these steps clearly. I can only guess that if I had the awning supports routed properly that there would have been more slack in the top and it probably would have just clicked into place the first time. Now that I know how to put it up; I know how to put it up. I guess that's how it goes. If you buy one of these, they seem to be a good value to cost, just pay special attention to the corners of the cover and make sure that it is correct BEFORE you try to push up the center. ... show more

What a game changer. I do 6 to 8 vendor outside events a year and the ease on setup is something I had only dreamed of. Double awning allow ms me to have people hang out in front of the booth. The tent provides great shade coverage for our very sunny deck. The vents allow a breeze to go through the tent whenever the flaps are down. The ability to angle the flaps provides a lot more shade than a regular pop up tent.

I really like this canopy, I used it for 3 months last year but the color has faded and this year when I put it back, it ripped from one side. I just would like to know where to buy the replacement canopy top.

    • Easy to assemble
I love this new canopy with the "wings". Although it is not totally waterproof, it had kept my deck furniture dry in some pretty severe weather. Only after 2 full days of rain does it begin to drip a bit where the metal touches the canvas. Mine is also mounted on my deck, I put 1 screw in each of the 4 legs and it has withstood 2 storms in which tornadoes have passed within 1/2 mile of my house. I'm a 70 yr old woman, and the package was quite heavy, so I had to drag it through the house to the back deck, but once I got the expanding frame out of the box and storage bag, it was easy from there. I did have to put a nail in one leg to hold it in place while I expanded the framing, and I was anticipating trouble in raising the whole thing after I put on the top, but to my surprise, it went up quite easily, and the only "tools" I needed were my 4' ladder, a hammer for the one nail....then a small drill for a pilot hole for the 4 screws into my wood deck. I did use 2 of the "rope" tie downs provided just to add a little stability against wind. It took me less than 45 minutes to put the canopy up by myself, so I'd imagine that 2 younger people could put it up in less than 15 mins. ... show more
