    • Good plastic case for the price
I think this is a good little case to keep items secured for short periods of time, when you are at sports events, at the beach or pool, water parks etc. The case is nice and the combination works just fine. I read bad reviews on it saying the combination didn't work, but I had no issues with mine. It includes a cable so you can secure the case when leaving it behind. I like that. Of course it is not a heavy metal case, but many of us do not want to carry a heavy case, just for small events. I'm sure if you used a screw driver you could open it, but for a student at school to leave in their backpack or while playing sports and need to attach to bleachers, I think it works just fine. It's not going to be like a heavy metal high price security safe because this is more for quick trips and to just put your phone away while you swim do sports or something. It's a good case for the price. But not like a gun safe. If you want that, then you need to look into heavy metal and higher dollar security devices, because this is plastic.     • Great little safe.
I bought one of these for each of my daughters. One of my daughters had some friends visit and then was missing her wallet (or so she thought). She later found her wallet, but this just allows for a protective place to keep anything valuable locked and hooked to her bed. It works like a charm. This does have a plastic outside, so if you have an older child who is on drugs or something like that it will not deter them... Like my Grandfather said, "locks are for 'honest' people." This means that they are really just a deterrent and if someone is really criminally minded they will take your stuff anyway. It is big enough to fit a small firearm if you wanted or a phone and wallet, etc. Pretty cool little lock-box. ... show more

    • Nice little safe for the beach.
Purchased for traveling and am very happy with this little safe. On a recent vacation I put my cash and jewelry in it, in my carry on, to go through TSA. It's small enough to fit in my purse without taking up to much space and everything is safe and secure. I also look forward to using next time I'm at the beach/pool to keep my phone/cash safe when I'm away from my lounge chair in the water. I'm not convinced it would deter someone seriously motivated, but I'm more interested in a little peace of mind that I won't be the victim of a crime of opportunity. Setting the combination lock only takes a minute and is very easy. I only gave it 4 stars because I purchased the white safe and it arrived a little scuffed and dirty. Also, the interior of the safe is very small. I wish the padding on the inside was slightly smaller so I could fit 2 cell phones inside. For the price, however, I don't think you can beat this little safe. ... show more

I am glad to update this review and say that the the seller gladly replace the item with a working one with no problem the new one works great came in clean and has worked great since I received it Received the product and slightly dirty coming straight out of the box which is fine doesn't bother me much however it is completely useless for a travel safe the combination works only for opening and shutting the door the cable will release no matter whether your combination is correct or not all you have to do is push the button and the point behind the cable is to make sure the safe does not get stolen so if the combination will not lock the cable into the safe the safe is useless ... show more

I really like this little safe I liked it so much I purchased 4 of them I keep money Socaial Security card in one of them I put my medications with a pill crusher in one I gave one as a gift The 4th one that I purchased I keep my coin collection and my old zippo lighter in it You could put allot more stuff in these safes I really like that it is made by a well known company Master Lock I would recommend this if you want to keep things safe from anyone From like your little brother , parents , your friends , visitors anyone Or if your in a canibus legal state would be a cool place to keep your stash ,pipe ,papers , lighter away from minors in your house If your into e cigarettes could keep all your stuff for that in it away from kids It is well made and good quality product ... show more

    • Awesome Idea!
This is an awesome idea! I love that I can take it to the beach or on scuba diving boats, put my money, credit cards, room key, etc. in the safe and attach the safe to a fixed object and swim without being worried about my belongings. Works great and plenty roomy. UPDATE: I'm posting an update to my prior review of this product. It is a very good idea and resolved so many potential problems when it came to keeping items safe in public places. However, I just used it for the second time with problems. The first time I used it was for a couple of hours at a public swimming pool where I attached it to my chair and had no problems. I just returned from a week long scuba diving trip to Palau. My husband and I were so grateful to have the Master Lock SafeSpace to keep our money, wallets, ID, hotel room key, cell phone, etc. in while scuba diving. We attached it around a bar on the seat of the boat each day. It worked great the first couple days of our scuba trip. The third day I couldn't get it opened. I tried for over an hour. It was "jammed" or something! The cable came unlocked just fine, but it was the button on the right side of the numbers that gave me the issue. I would push it in and it would stay in and not open the lid. Eventually we had to force it open, breaking the latch. I don't know if this occurred because the safe had gotten a little wet, but not drenched or anything. Water would drip on it off of us when we would get back in the boat from making a dive. Because of this, I'm changing my 5 star review to 3 stars. I would love to have another one of these if I had the peace of mind that I wasn't going to be locked out of it. ... show more
