  • Excellent build quality, beautiful, comfortable design, okay sound quality
Color: White Ceramic / Stainless Steel Case
PRESENTATION AND BUILD: Opening these up from the box was a very "Wow" experience. The packaging is beautiful and solid. Picking up the case for the first time also shocked me at how solid and heavy (but not too heavy) it felt. I was super pleased. When they arrived, the case was fully charged, and the buds were at 90%, so none of that interminable waiting for your headphones to charge for the first time before you can use them. (If you do want to charge them first, take the buds out of the case and remove the plastic film over the charging terminals so they make contact) Putting the buds in felt good. They fit nicely, and stayed in place. The medium tips were a little small, so I fitted the large tips on, and they got a very good seal in my ears. I shook my head and jumped around a little, and they stayed put. I didn't run a 5K with them or anything, but for normal usage, no issues for me at all. Note: I don't have issues with the fit of wireless earbuds. Some people have an ear shape that makes certain designs press and hurt, and I haven't had that with anything. But these are smaller and more compact than they look in photos, and I think they should be good for most ears. I think these look the best of any wireless buds I've tried. I got the white ceramic pair, and really enjoyed the way they looked in my ears. CONNECTION: They paired to my Pixel 3 right away, more simple than any others I've tried. Connection seemed solid and stable. Nothing to report here. SOUND QUALITY: I like electronic music, pop, alternative, and mostly music that has important sounds in the really deep bass. The MW08's let me down here. I would say that they sound "fine". If you're coming from very cheap earbuds or free headphones, you will likely enjoy the sound a lot. I'm trying to replace a broken pair of Powerbeats Pros which I loved, but broke. The Powerbeats have a 12mm driver, and are able to hit really low sub-bass without effort. They don't have the "stereotype" Beats bass that's really muddy. They're really nice. So when they broke, I went looking for something else with a large driver to replace them with. The MW08 has an 11mm driver, so I thought it would do the trick, but it doesn't. The tuning is very different. There is almost no sub-bass, and the higher bass frequencies (50-80hz) are really pronounced and stuffy. I found it to be overwhelming, but not in a pounding way that's fun for bass-heads, but in more of a droning congested way. That alone was enough to turn me off, but the high frequencies also sound like my ears are stuffed, and high-hat and high pitched electronic sounds make my eyes water with these. I drew out what I heard the frequency response to be, to give a sort of visual representation. My Powerbeats Pros had some intermittent connection issues and eventually died on me, but I'm just going to be buying another pair of them. I can't find anything else that sounds as good for my style of music, and they're (currently as of June 2021) much less expensive. I did not try noise cancelation. I did not hear much of an effect with the ambient sound pass-through either. I have experienced the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 version of ambient audio and that seemed far superior, but I did NOT give these a total test in that regard, so that's not anything to go off of. ... show more

  • Incredible Sound
Color: Black Ceramic / Matte Black Case
I’m blown away. I read reviews saying that these didn’t compare to outer ear headphones. I couldn’t disagree more. I have a pair of high quality outer ear headphones, and the quality is on par. I listen to a lot of treble heavy music with lots of violin and piano, so I’m not an expert on bass heavy music, so keep that in mind. The few bass heavy tracks I have sound good to my ears, however. I had already read numerous reviews about the lack of noise cancellation, and they are all correct. If that’s what you’re looking for, search elsewhere. I barely notice a difference with noise cancellation on. I also feel that the seal it forms in the ears is satisfactory noise cancellation for most situations anyway. Just don’t expect much more than that. Perhaps I should subtract a star for that, but that’s not what I was looking for when I purchased these. I wanted the best quality sound I could find in bluetooth earbuds, with decent battery life. These blow my several years old Yevo Air earbuds out of the water. Battery life is incredible so far. The case and buds charge quickly, and I still had so much charge left after hours of use. My biggest complaint is how difficult it was to switch out the bud sizes, but I’m confident these will never unintentionally come off, which is reassuring. Just know that it may be a struggle, especially if you don’t already know the correct size. Once you have the correct size on, you’re all set, so I guess the only issue would be if you’re sharing these with people that wear other sizes. I am not, so I’m okay with the bit of work I had to do. These are so comfortable with the correct size. I barely notice them in my ears. If you have the money to splurge and you want lasting ear buds with quality sound, I say go for it. ... show more

  • Battery Life is a Lie and charging issues
Color: Black Ceramic / Matte Black Case
1. I wanted earbuds that last my entire shift. I work 10 hours shifts, so 10.5 hours with lunch. These claim to last 12 Hours of "PLAYTIME" and 10 hours if ANC is on. Even with all noise canceling features off, these actually only last 5-6 hours of real playtime. They will last 12 hours on IF you don't use them for anything and just have them in your ears. However if you, say, play music (in other words, what people would call playtime), they last a sad 5-6 hours. This means having to take them off to charge in their case when one would rather keep listening things. I was hoping to replace my LG Tone Platinum's with these, as the sound quality is really good in them. In that at least they didn't lie. But my Tone Plat's last 14-16 hours of actual playtime. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. At least as far as I can see it. 2. Charging Issues. One thing that isn't noted is that for some odd reason, be it terrible design or not, the earbuds themselves DO NOT charge while the case is plugged in to charge.... Yup, that means when you plug in the case to charge it, it counts as the earbuds not being in the case, thus they actually lose power since they're now on and not being charged (though not on in the sense that they'll reconnect with their last device. This means if your buds die and you put them in the case and then say plug them in for the night, they will not be charged when you wake up. If say you put fully charged buds in your case and leave it for a day, you'll find that the buds are now in the red in power..... (they've never completely died when I tested, but they do drain power despite being in the case while the case is being charged.....). ---- Other than that, I do like the earbuds. They fit really nicely. They look nice. They have great sound. The case is nicely made and a good size. However those two previous issues to me are large ones. 1. Lies on how long the playtime on the Earbud battery life (found both here in Amazon and the same description in the spec listed on their official site). 2. Problems with charging the buds at the same time as the case. ... show more
