I have never used a tattoo gun like this before. I am a novice just trying to teach myself how to do tattoos (its gonna be a mess I know). This gun feels nice in your hands, holds a charge a long time, has plenty of adjustment options, and as a real bonus allows for wired use. I have read about other guns running out of juice while in use and are not pass through enabled so you have to stop working unless you have other batteries on standby. The kit is well priced and comes with everything you need to get started. Even included ink. I have done some very basic shape designs on artificial skin and it went really well. The learning curve was expected and becoming a real artist will take years of work and experience. But I think this is a good tool to get started and just mess around with. Look for more experienced artist reviews to get a better understanding if you are buying this for real tattoo work. If you are just messing around like me, its a great purchase. ... show more

This is a nice starter kit to get one going. I really like how this machine feels sleeker in the hand than other Mast machines. It’s runs smoother and quiet. It comes with the standard size cartridges one finds they use a lot for lining which is very helpful. The extra battery pack is nice and the battery charge lasts long. The interface is very try easy to read and the machine overall is easy and quick to use. Mast black ink is always good quality for silicone as silicone is hard to penetrate a lot.     • This is larger than it appears, but works better for me than a smaller profile. Super strong motor.
I was not expecting this to fit my hands so well. After holding it I saw that it actually fit my hands really well. The digital display letter are true to the image size. Other LCD image letters are hard to reads, but this one has letter large enough for me, so that is definitely a plus for me. I like that this has two batteries and a RCA jack power adapter for when the need arises. I tried the included supplies and they are of a good quality. I do however have my preferred brand and those i'm happy to say fit the pen grip well without any problems whatsoever. I've had other brands that jammed or flopped around but these are good. My brand of cartridges also fit well. Motor power on battery and external power source are exceptional. Both gave me good results in laying down a few test lines on a practice skin. Amazing quality for a brand I never heard of. I love that it comes with 2 separate batteries so that I can always have one charging and never have to worry about stopping for recharge times. For a starter kit its not bad although I do with it came with more ink options but overall I am very happy with its quality and ease of use. While I am far from a professional this has definitely stepped up my game with my practicing. Looking to learn tattooing this a great start. ... show more

works great! the motor is pretty quiet, but it is significantly louder once a cartridge is added. I love that you can adjust the length! The gold is also pretty good. It is quite thick, so you’ll need to get larger wraps for sanitation which is annoying. Overall, I think it’s pretty good!

Mast Flip3 Tattoo Gun Kit I have always wanted to learn how to do tattoos, but never had the chance or tools to do so. Thanks to this kit and some practice pads, I will finally be able to see if it something I can do. The “pen” in this kit seems very well made and robust. It comes with two battery packs which can easily be swapped out when needed. The kit includes everything I needed yo get started, and has a lot of adjustability to dial it in.
