I have muscle spasms in my calf muscles, and when they would get really bad, I would use this for a few days and they would ease up, so it's a pretty effective massage gun. It has a good amount of travel and can withstand a lot of pressure if that's what you need. I haven't tried all the different massage heads, I mostly just stick to one. It's great to use when you're winding down and watching something on the TV after a workout. I don't have anything to really compare it to, other than say, the really cheap massage guns that anyone with common sense should know is not really capable of providing any kind of actual therapeutic relief. I picked this one based on the price and on paper specs compared to competitors and it does deliver. However, I didn't use this regularly at first within the first year of owning it and when I really needed it after starting up martial arts classes about a month ago, the unit wouldn't hold a charge or power on. I was dissapointed, but thankfully I still was a month away from the one year warranty. Thankfully I needed to use it pretty badly after having a muscle cramp from second day back in the dojo–otherwise I may not have discovered the issue before the warranty would've been up. Customer service was very prompt and helpful in getting the unit returned and sending out a replacement, so hopefully this one will last and not have any issues. I've seen other reviews that had a similar problem so I'd like to think that Opove has been taking steps to address it in their manufacturing/sourcing of components and improve the reliability of their product. If I have issues in the future I will update again.

Boyfriend bought this for his various muscle pains after working with concrete all day. We both like the amount of pressure and precision it provides- and we've actually used multiple attachments for different muscle pains. The most impressive thing by far is that we've used it probably once a day for short periods of time, and the battery still reads as full weeks later. Very impressive little tool.

This massager punches deep and gets you feeling better. Most massagers that pass over bones are extremely painful. Because of how deep this thing punches, in some places such as your back it will hit bone sometimes, but it isn't bad. When you're sore this may hurt using it but will work the knots out. The stall force is very high so good luck trying to stall it if pressing hard. I like that it comes with a travel / storage case to keep everything together and neat. I have taken this thing with me on vacation and to work. All the attachments are friction fit into place, so it takes some force to get them in, so they don't shoot across the room. I recommend twisting and pushing at the same time to get into place. When removing attachments, it would be best to twist and pull at the same time.

My wife and I call the gun our best friend!! We were really impressed with its case it came in and all it’s various attachments. She uses it mainly on her legs and I use it mainly on my entire back. It really works the muscles making you feel like a new person when you’re done. After you charge it up the battery seems to last forever before it needs recharged again. It was well worth the money and we would recommend it to anyone. It really is awesome and it really is our best friend!!
