The chair is great for people under 6 feet tall. The messaging/tapping etc will only get to the bottom of my neck (I'm only 5'10"). My 5'8" wife says it gets up to the base of her skull. All of the modes work well. Unlike my Osaki chair, this one does not allow me to shut off the air bags when in use. The speakers are a plus. Easy pairing the speakers to your Bluetooth device (the four digits you need to pair are 8888) . All in all nicely made and easy to use. I really like this chair. It helps my back much more than the Homedics chair massager I have been using for years. The back massage is great. The leg massage is decent. The foot massage isn't useful. The shoulder air bags are horrible. They push your arms out of the forearm massage bags which are pretty good. This unit does not have hip air bags. The problem is that the programming is awful. The buttons don't always respond. Have to double touch certain buttons to get them to work. The "pain" mode is limted to 6 minutes, and then the chair bounces around back and forth. The seller says there's nothing wrong with it. Unfortunately, there is no memory for the program you prefer to use, so you have to set each function every time you use the chair (zero-g, full, recline, heat, etc, etc, etc). I wouldn't buy this chair again. ... show more

I am 5' 9" and the massage mechanism does not reach my neck and shoulders even though I fit in the chair perfectly and my head rests on the head rest. So, that is a huge disappointment... because neck and shoulders is kinda a big deal for everyone, right? There is no bluetooth-- that is a lie. I decided to keep it, however, because it does deep tissue masssage. Next time I buy a massage chair I'll plan to spend a lot more and go to a store for a major upgrade, but this is okay. Just okay.
