I'm absolutely in love with this chair! I've always wanted a bright yellow reading chair for my library. It's pricey but it makes my heart so happy, which makes it worth it. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it's slightly annoying to recline. I wish there was a lever to it or that you could lean back and it would auto-recline. But no, you have to pull the bottom part out manually which is difficult to do when you're already sitting on it. And if you do it before you sit on it, you have to kinda hop onto the chair. Annoying but overall I'm still in love with it. It's super comfy too, but I would definitely add a chair pillow for added support. Assembly took all of 10 mins, its basically just clicking things into place and adding the legs. ... show more

The back wouldn't stay in the reclined position. I contacted the company and was told this chair doesn't have an adjustment under the seat. We ended up having to return it. It's a beautiful chair. Overall, I like this chair well enough to not return it. It's very firm and quite angulsr, ut it bends in the right olaces so that one can sit. The fabric is a little scratchy and has strong orangey undertones. If you're a tall person or a stout one, you probably won't like it much but if you're petite or don't need something for extended sitting, this would definitely jazz up a space. Bought this for my 84 year old mother who needs a tall seat and strong arms to get out of chairs. So far, we are very happy. It’s attractive and functional. It’s hard to find something tall enough yet comfortable. This hit the spot. Now we’ll hope the arms hold up!

I needed a small comfortable chair to rest in for my sewing/office space. This fits the bill. It is not super comfy and I did not expect it to feel like my LaZ Boy recliner. Yet it is perfect for what I need. Love the color and I had some fabric to make a pillow that matches perfectly!

UPDATED: it's cute, but the fabric pills like crazy...like TONS of them that have to be removed with a tool, which I know will make the fabric thin over time. If this is a piece of furniture that will be sat in daily, it will start to look dingy pretty quickly. The pills started about a WEEK of regular use. (Pills are little balls of fabric that come from friction.) If I had known it would age that quickly, I would not have purchased. I am stuck with them now, but they do have a dirty look to them because of the fabric pilling, even when I clean or try to remove the pilling periodically. I expect to have to totally replace these in a year. Easy to assemble, great value, and beautiful style! I put it together by myself, even though instructions say it's a two person job. The legs screw in and the back pops on. Easy peasy! I am 5'4" and find my head lays comfortably against the chair, reclined. My husband is 5'11" and 250 lbs and says it feels comfortable to him. His head goes a bit above the back when reclined but not to where he can't lay back. The style of chair does take away a bit from a traditional recliner as far as softness, but it still feels good and sturdy to sit in. It reclines easily for all of us, though my older mother in law does have trouble pushing the chair backwards to recline. I LOVE the color. I got muted yellow and it gives a wonderful pop of color without being too loud or harsh. They are made very well. The legs screwed in easily and feel very sturdy as well. The button detail is too cute! The cushions are firm. I haven't had a spill yet, so whether it is easy to clean, remains to be seen. I may get some arm covers because you do have to grip the arms to lay back, which I can see making them dirty over time. Overall, these are so so nice and stylish, and affordable! ... show more
