  • Awesome little box, just prepare for broken screws
The only thing I found wrong with this is the screws are super cheap, the head twisted off as I was screwing them in. And no, it wasn't user error, I've been doing construction off and on my whole life and have remodeled half of our house, the screws are just junk.

  • solid construction
Hard to rate a product, that has not been used, however, the bee house is well constructed, hope it works as intended, no instructions came with it, which might have been helpful.

  • Great Bee House
Nice little bee house. I got this one because it had the bee tubes along with the wooden block. Definitely happy with my purchase and would buy again.

  • Bees have not moved in
We put this in our orchard in the county. It was easy to hang. We attached it to an existing wooden pole to make it sturdy. It seems like it will last but patiently waiting for bees to move in.

  • Ready to rock out of the box, has a sharp smell
I ordered this for my bee population hoping that I could help them a little bit locally. I liked the fact that there was no construction at all with this it's pretty much ready to go out of the box and set up. I did notice that there is a bit of a heavy smell, I'm not sure what wood this is made out of but it does seem a little bit odd. ... show more

  • Cute house for pollinators, no visitors so far!
I have a large garden which I'm trying to make more sustainable so I'm trying to make my land more pollinator friendly; so i thought this would be a nice addition! I've had it for a couple weeks now, and unfortunately no sign of life so far! But it seems well made and east to clean, and replace the tubes. Not sure what would attract them to it, but hoping we have a few visitors by the end of the season 🙂 ... show more

  • Cute bee house, a little pricey
I like the look of this bee house. It is solid and well constructed. I was excited to hang it in our backyard, although I'm definitely going to need to get some thicker rope or twine as the included piece is super thin and will probably break after being rained on a few times. I also wish it came with some literature. It's not like it requires a manual or anything, but as a layman I would have loved to be educated on the purpose of bee houses and their different parts a little bit. For instance, minor, but am I supposed to leave the little 'door' at the bottom open or closed? This probably sounds very critical, but I am pleased with this overall. The hanger is an easy fix, and I have Google to educate me to my heart's content. While it seems a bit more expensive than other (similar) options, I would have no problem recommending this product. ... show more

  • Very nice, but...
This is a very well made bee house, but the long piece of jute twine, included, hardly matches its durability. Jute is a natural fiber that is biodegradable and the long piece supplied is very thin. A shorter, thicker piece of at least 1/4 inch in diameter would be better to help this survive at least a couple of seasons in all kinds of weather. I have some thicker jute twine that I will use in its stead and use the piece supplied as I do with thin, jute twine and use it for tying my tomato plants to stakes. ... show more
