This is a really nice handle, but it's smaller than 1/2"...I had to open it up with a drill. That kinda sucked, but I'd rather have it too small than too big. The other weird thing is the set screws they give you are like 5x as long as they need to be. I think they are like 1" long, so they look comical installed. You really need like a 3/16" set screw. They gave me 4, and I chalk that up to them feeling bad about the absurdity of the whole ordeal ;) Overall a great product with a bad description and oddball accessories. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I wish the original equipment that came on this saw was as well built as this. This wheel feels like it was made a long time ago before parts were made “replaceable. The description says that this is half an inch but unfortunately when I put the caliper on it, it measures .48. I had to drill the hole out on my drill press to get it to .50. If you’re OK with that you’ve got a good deal on your hands. And maybe that’s the way grandpa fixed things in his day, when a replacement part was too small. Over all this is a solid part and will surpass the OEM crank that came on your Crapsman tool. ... show more

The handwheel actually fits a 12mm shaft (15/32”), not the advertised 1/2”. The other frustration is the two included set screws are twice as long as they should be for the application. Otherwise its functional and sturdy in construction and design.

I have an older Delta table saw that I'm resurrecting and my crank handle assembly was missing. Since my saw is pretty old the manufacturer has discontinued the part and offers no substitute. I looked hi and low for a compatible assembly to no avail. Then I found this one, I wasn't sure it would work on my saw but figured it's Amazon and I could send it back if it doesn't fit. Make sure your shaft diameter is 1/2" and all should be good! It has a nice solid build quality that reminds me of the good ole days.     • It works, but specs are wrong. This is a 12mm shaft size not 1/2 inch.

I like the product. My only complaint is they advertised 1/2" shaft size when its a 12mm shaft size. I drilled it out to 1/2", but if you don't have a 1/2" drill then this would be a mess.
