We are creating original masks with this using a plaster mold. It works great and is easy to use. Our order came on time and was not dried out, which it seems some reviews have mentioned. I would like to note it does shrink in the sun. Once your product is done keep it out of direct sun or you can see quiet a bit of shrinkage. ... show more

I would give this a five star review except for one thing: it is not what I would consider a "casting" latex. It is more along the line of a mold making latex. I am not saying you can't cast masks with it; just that it is not very pourable and much thicker than typical casting latex. That is not all bad. It works very well as a brush in latex and I thinned mine down and it worked excellent. I normally purchase casting latex in 5 gal buckets because it is cheaper per gal, but I needed this fast in a pinch. It came in a sturdy one gal bucket with a nice handle. This item should be taken off the market if it's not suitable for winter or spring. I was so disappointed when I eagerly open the box just to see a dozen huge rubber in the big container I brought thinking I was going to use it two or more times. So disappointed and shoking I wasted that money
