The strap was sent in a small sort bag and if you know package handlers and small sort it is not an easy ride. When it arrived it fit well and worked well initially. Through some intense beatsaber sessions where the strap meats the head support in the back there are 2 small plastic tabs that keep this portion connected. I had not realized up until that point that one was either missing in production or broken in shipping and the second snap keep coming loose resulting in asymmetrical fit albeit workable I did not want to keep a broken strap. Overall it was decent but possibly vendors need to send in a box vs bag to prevent damage during shipping or QA needs to be improved. ... show more

The old amazon posting was taken down so I’ll leave my review here. It was the same item and seller: Masiken. I never leave reviews but since there aren’t many for this Quest 2 headstrap alternative, I figured I would leave one. I spent a lot of time looking for detailed reviews on this and didn’t find many of them anywhere. On YouTube there’s only one or two videos that I’ve seen on this stay so far as well. I just got this today and put it through a couple hours of play on Population One. Even though it is a generic item, it really is comfortable and the plastic that the main part is made of seems fairly durable. Assembly instructions are lacking, but it’s straight forward. As far as build quality, the only cheap feeling parts are the small plastic pieces that attach it to the Quest 2 itself. Which is a shame, because everything else about the build is made well. I can only see those cheap tabs being a problem if your tossing your headset down hard on the floor or something. Concerning comfort, it fits really nice. The feel is firm and secure, yet comfortable. The dial on the back tightens and loosens it really efficiently. I have a tall shaved head, so I can feel all the points of pressure and there is nothing that stands out. This does alleviate a lot of the weight on the face and really makes a longer session much more comfortable. I was worried that, being a generic import, I would constantly be feeling like my quest would fall off my face. But not at all. Like I said, it feels secure. Seeing that there are multiple sellers that seem to offer the exact same head strap, I’m pretty sure they are all the same product just marketed by different brands. I got this one for about $38 with Prime shipping which is a fair price considering the Oculus elite strap is $50 and sold out everywhere. We’ll see how it holds up in the long run. I own the FB pro-strap and ordered these for the rest of my family - might get one for myself too as the FB one doesn't solve for balance and I've not seen a good battery hanger yet. ... show more

This is a great very comfortable replacement to the generic quest 2 headpiece. Very easy to adjust. The directions could be more clear and the installation was difficult.
