We followed the instructions to assemble and started the engine ad idle. Engine started for 5 seconds and died. Further diagnosis revealed ignition system is defective and not providing the spark ignition to the spark plug. It is highly likely that the ignition coil was defective and shorted out right after the first 5 second start. We check the fuel system and all are fully operational except magneto ignition system failed to perform causing engine no longer to start. Please make sure to inform the manufacturer to look into there magneto system to improve it's reliability. I am hands on in engine design and almost certain that the poorly designed magneto system must be looked at by the manufacturer to eliminate this type of disappointments and wasted lots of time and going through return cycle. ... show more

Slim to know instructions to this product if this is a gas oil mix blower the customer should know what mixture to use on this product 50-1 or 40-1 mixture. Not knowing this simple piece of information can destroy your blower unit so I agree with other customers reviews by not providing that information puts the customer at a disadvantage I hope Amazon is sharing review information with manufacturer so they can get it right. My unit is cutting off and on letting me know that the engine May blow and I blame this on the manufacturer lack of information. ... show more

Have tried it several times so far and my battery powered leaf blower does a better job then this gas powered one. Wish I hadn't wasted $130 on this.
