This is a good product. The collar is nice and bright provides great visibility for your dog to be seen by others, including vehicles, especially if you're like me. Live in a dark area and have an all black dog, battery lasts a long time. I've had this collar for over 2 weeks now. I charged it when I first got it. I'm outside with my dog anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour multiple times at night and I have not had to charge the battery since the initial charging. The collar is easy to charge any standard type. C. Charger fits the charging port. And the collar will fully charge depending on the battery level in about 45 minutes to an hour however, this collar does have one drawback it is not super adjustable You have a limited range to adjust this collar due to the LED lights. And one of the things I found is if you have to adjust the collar to a smaller size to fit your pup's neck correctly as soon as your dog starts pulling against their leash which is attached to the d-ring. The collar has a tendency to loosen up and you find yourself having to retighten the collar down. This happened with the original color that I bought because I bought a large and it would loosen up to the point where my dog could just lower her head to look at the ground and the collar would fall right off so I ended up having to downsize to a medium. Before I originally purchased the collar, I did measure my dog's other collar to see what size it was and then compared that size to the size chart for the recommended size for your dog and found that the large even though it adjusted to the size of my dogs other collar. It was still too big. I had to actually return it and switch to a medium.

We have had two of these collars (red & orange) for almost 3.5 years now and they are still functioning well. Where we live, it rains 3/4 of the year and we have a creek right next to our house, so the waterproof part was a main concern. We also live at the base of mountain and with a forest backing our house, so durability was important. Finally, we live on a 40 mph street and get animals like bears and porcupines in our yard regularly, so visibility was also a huge concern. Our big guy is all black and disappears into the night completely. He doesn’t wander far, but our medium girl has been known to chase after otters and such, so cars are a real danger. I will note that we do not keep the collars on all the time. We only put them on when we let them out or take them on walks at night as it seemed unrealistic to us that any collar could stand up to both so much rain and the creek water plus normal wear-and-tear if they were worn 24/7. They are a bit difficult to adjust the size on because of the light strip, and our dogs’ hair go back and forth between fluffy and very short depending on the temperatures and such so we would need to adjust them every month or two if they were their main collars. We did adjust the large collar in the beginning but the covering began to fray a little so we just left it at the default setting. It fits well when he has a full coat and is a little loose when he’s short, but not enough that it can fall off. And he doesn’t run off through the woods like our other one so we don’t really have to worry about it catching on branches and such. The little rubbery plugs that cover the charging port wore off after awhile but it hasn’t been an issue. The way we use them, we only have to charge them once a month or so, and they still charge and seem to hold their charges as well as they did when new. They like wearing them as they know it means a walk/to go out, so they never try to remove them or chew on them. Overall, we are impressed with how well these collars have withstood the 3+ years of use they’ve had. We got them hoping for a year of use, and maybe if they wore them constantly that would have been true. Even then, they would have been well-worth the price we paid. Before we got these, we had had tried tube-style light-up collars and one literally fell to pieces within a week and the other stopped working soon after. And the small tag ones never lasted long with the rain and didn’t offer enough visibility for our needs. We put their collars to flash on and off when they’re outside, as all drivers know red/orange flashing lights mean caution/slow down. I don’t know if the flashing lights help with the bears and animals; they seem to have helped, but it could also be that their jingling tags warn of their approach. Unless their quality has declined in the past three years, I would recommend these collars to anyone. We’re thinking of getting replacement collars now, as it’s been so long and they’re got to die eventually. But also as backup for the rare times we don’t realize they need to be charged up again until we go to use them. We don’t have to charge them often, so we forget occasionally. If we purchase them again and find their quality has declined or they break, we’ll make sure to edit this review to reflect that.

The media could not be loaded. The dog collar is bright and can be seen from very far at night. It has 3 settings steady, fast pulse, and a slower pulse. The collar fits well and can adjust easily. I do appreciate the fast C charging via the provided cord. My only issue is the collar after 1.5 months of use is bright on one side and dimmer on the other. All the functions work it's just the LEDs have faded or burning out.
