Item works well for buffing natural nail. My only complaint would be that when buffing, the black stuff comes off onto your nail. It sheds when using, which may be a little bit unfortunate if you are using on falsies.

I actually bought these to lighty sand or buff out small pieces of powder coated projects I do . before the final coat. I am sure they work good on nails but they have great other uses.
