Though I’ve only played a little bit of this game, I set it on Easy mode as I haven’t played in forever. It takes some adjustment getting used to the characters looking slightly different from the movies, but they did a good job with the similarities. Basically I got to the first few segments before the action part began. I’ll have to update once I have time to sit down and play for longer than a few minutes. It is very interactive being able to click on items in the first scene, I won’t give it away. Update: I played this once or twice and haven’t picked it up since. Maybe due to a slow start, or I’ve been busy and haven’t had enough time to sit down and play. ... show more

I was hesitant to get another Marvel game after the Avengers debacle but it was on sale so I gave it a try. I'm glad I did! I was pleasantly surprised at how fun and engaging the game was. The story was so good and cinematic. The game play was fun. You can only play with StarLord, but you have team up moves where you call the other characters in to do something special. There is also a cool huddle sequence if you are getting thrashed. Some of the play seemed to get repetitive toward the end, but the character and skill progression was pretty even and kept supplying you with new moves through almost the whole story. I would let me kids play this game also. It was no more adult than a typical Marvel movie. All around a really great buy! ... show more

XBox Series X 4K enhanced great gameplay single player action adventure third person playing as Star-Lord. It is currently on Game Pass so you can always download and test it before you buy it but it is definitely worth owning.
