    • Bosch tamper shank
Style: SDS Max Tamper Plate Size: 9 In.
Typical Great Bosch Quality. Fits tamper perfectly and it is built to last a long time and does not need batteries. That last part was written to meet the minimum number of words required for this review.

    • It is what it is, and it's Bosch
Style: SDS Max Tamper Plate Size: 9 In.
It goes in the plate tamper and works just fine. Quality is what you would expect of a Bosch product. 'nuff said. Of course you need the plate that goes with it, sold separately.

    • Bosch failed to provide product support
Style: SDS Max Tamper Plate Size: 9 In.
Shaft didn't fit into the compactor plate and Bosch determined from photos that the shaft had not been tapered. They offered to send me a replacement and I could keep the old defective shaft. After 2 weeks and 4 contacts asking for the tracking number, they finally confessed that they never intended to ship a replacement, unless, now, I return the item to them. I told them that Amazon would have exchanged it already in half the time and that I would exchange it with the Amazon seller and never wanted to do business with Bosch again. My project is negatively impacted by this delay and will be another week before I can resume work. Buyer beware that if the Bosch product is correct, they should be good. But if they need Bosch customer support, they are in trouble. ... show more

I needed a short shaft for those tight places and this did the trick.

    • Part of a good tool
Style: SDS Max Tamper Plate Size: 9 In.
This shaft is good for the taper base it is designed for. The only draw back is that it is a pressure fit into the base and remove for store is almost impossible.

    • Must Have Tool With the Bosch Tamper Plate
Style: SDS Max Tamper Plate Size: 9 In.
I used it in the Bosch 11313 Demo Hammer and it went to town. I have the set up for the Brute also, but this one is much easier to use.
