An overall fun experience of a beloved PS1 classic. Due to its short length, I recommend a sale, but everything else about the game was flawless. Another good remake.

I got my son this game for his birthday and he really likes it. I grew up with Pac-Man so seeing as they had a new game I had to buy it. Lots of fun features, and cool characters.

    • Decent old-school platformer
This was on sale for ~$13 when I purchased it, so that factors into my review. Overall, the game looks ok (not great, but for a remake of a PS1 game, it's fine), and if you just want to play an old-school platformer for a bit, this scratches that itch. Fans of Pac-Man will enjoy this. That being said, it does have its issues. The level design is somewhat meh at best, and there are certain areas where, for whatever reason, it's difficult to judge where you are when making a jump. (The area with "Pac-Mom," who is *totally not* Ms. Pac-Man, comes to mind.) Collision detection also seems to be a bit off in places as well (the worst example was the final part of the final battle). For better or worse, this is a roughly twenty-five year-old mascot platformer. If you're a fan of Pac-Man, a fan of the genre, or just want to zone out and play an old-school platformer on a modern system, this is a good option, especially if it's on sale. ... show more

    • Fun and More Challenging than Expected
I’ve played the old pac man games and I don’t remember wanting to throw my controller so much lol! It is a fun game for sure and definitely worth the money but comes with some frustrating levels!
