I'm happy with this screen protector. It went on well and feels satisfyingly smooth to the touch. It rises just a tiny bit above the Deck's plastic face so it's nice and thick, ensuring your screen is safe from scratches and bangs, but touchscreen responsiveness feels identical to me with no issues registering taps or gestures. The protector is cut to fit the Deck's screen precisely, filling about 99.5 percent of its space for an easy fit. I can't speak for anti-glare since my screen wasn't one to begin with, the image looks the same to me. The glass doesn't do much against smudges (any glass screen is going to get smudgy) but it's easily wiped off leaving no scratches behind. Ultimately this was a good deal, I feel more confident moving my Deck around now. The screen was easy to apply with no lasting bubbles and should anything happen to this one I've still got two left. Very easy install with this product. Had recently went with the Jsaux brand but totally blew the whole installation with both screen protectors that came with the Jsaux brand. Decided to give this brand a chance. First time installation went on near perfect. No bubbles at all. Didn’t quite fit the whole screen perfectly,and that could be my fault, but I am still happy with my handiwork and the item itself.     • Inexpensive and Great Piece of Mind
I installed one of these when I first got my Steamdeck, and it's been great for going on 8 months now. The original deck screen is ever-so-slightly recessed, and this protector fit right down on top of it perfectly, and I cannot even tell its there! I've had no problems with bubbles, dust, hair, or anything else underneath, and I haven't had any problems with screen visibility or poor image quality. Works like a normal screen protector, nothing too fancy. Had issues installing the first one with smudges underneath, but it comes with 3 and is inexpensive so I wasn't pressed about it.

Enjoyed this product very much. It was very easy to install in less than 2 minutes. Be sure to work with clean hands, and dust free surface to avoid bubbles. It has remained on my screen for going in 4 months, no issues.

I've had one of these screen protectors installed since the Deck arrived in 2022 and the other two have still been sitting in that box to this day. The one I installed has served more than well this entire time with many many hours of gameplay and still has yet to show any noticeable cracks or scratches. The touch screen is fully functional behind this protector with no issues whatsoever. CAUTION: The model I'm reviewing is for the LCD model ONLY. The OLED screen is bigger and will require a different sized protector. Also, if you have an anti-glare screen on your deck, this protector will nullify that coating leaving you with the same glossy look as everyone else without one. You may want to look into an anti-glare screen protector in this case if that bothers you. ... show more

I like that they give you three in the package. But that also tells me they expect the product to fail multiple times, which it did here. I have applied plenty of screen protectors before, but all three attempts resulted in something distracting being stuck under the screen after. I followed the instructions and even did the applies in a small bathroom with a hot shower running for a bit to make sure less dust would be in the air. I ordered a second box to try again, but I shouldn't have to keep ordering the same product playing a game of roulette on getting it to work. ... show more
