This is a great piece, but it has 2 defects and I cannnot get any customer service. I don't want to return it I would like someone to help me resolve the paint drip in the VERY FRONT and answer a question of how to best align one door. UPDATE: September 28 2023 Amazon never responded to any contacts I made. I did reach out to the company Martin Svensson directly and they were wonderful and replaced the damaged/paint drip top. ... show more

Purchase 2 sideboards in the Marche color (warm antique silver). Beautiful additional to the room. Assembly took longer than 10 minutes simply because I don't like stuck-on labels. I have provided a pic for the mfg, alternative to applying so many labels. The assembly hardware is as easy as Open & Close ...ingenius. I suggest a couple of changes to assembly - 1:use a small strip of painters tape to lock open the hardware before assembly.2:Install the door hardware before attaching the top ... or you'll never get inside! I chose to hide the backplates on the interior side of the door. Finish is "antiqued," so there will be tiny flaws. Not noticeable once assembled. Assembly does require 2 people just to life and place down on locking hardware (no sliding anything). This would have received 5 stars, 1 ding for the labels ... sorry. I am hoping to purchase an additional shelf. Plus another dazzle is buying & placing a glass top for durability. This idea was much cheaper than hiring someone to build-in sideboards. Qualifications for assembly just require being mechanically inclined. Really very simple and took about an hour. BTW the doors come installed to the facing, a huge benefit. However, the closing mechanism is tight, but nothing a little silicone lubricant can't fix. How do I purchase a additional shelf????? Remarkable purchase in my little world. Thank You. ... show more

The first one I ordered came & was not the color it described so I sent it back order a did color & he arrived still not the correct color pictured/described, I did keep the second because I do love the cabinet over all but the colors aren’t true to the description

Overall, I would say this is a decent product. It definitely took more than 10 minutes to install and better instructions would truly be helpful. For example, a detailed set of step-by-step instructions with WORDING would simplify the process altogether. For the price point, this is a decent product. Mine arrived defective. I have contacted customer service but have not heard back so far. Update: I was finally contacted by customer service three days after emailing. Totally unhelpful. You will have to go through a great deal of red tape if you have an issue. My advice is to skip this product if you can. Pay a little extra for something you can lay eyes on and touch prior to purchasing. Thankfully, my husband was able to fix the issue with a few tools we had around the house. ... show more

This piece is very sturdy. I love the color. It’s a silver/gray metallic with almost a dark wax. It comes with two shelves and killer hardware. I had two blemishes one on top and one on the bottom. They are squared with one another so I can only assume it rubbed during shipping. I have contacted CS so we will see. (Update, CS is sending new pieces) I emailed them pictures and it’s all taken care of. This was easy to assemble. Everything just locks into place. My husband was super pleased about that. The price for this furniture is fantastic. I’d definitely buy again. A lot of people give bad reviews based off a shipping matter. I gave mine on the actual product. ... show more

This is a sturdy piece of furniture! I am using it as a sideboard/coffee (& tea) bar as well as using it to store some less frequently used appliances. This is a good size and has a lot of storage space which is exactly what I needed. The assembly wasn’t too bad, there was a few steps that my daughter and I found challenging due to strength and leverage but we got it. Based on other reviews we used a rubber mallet and that made things easier I think. Hopefully this piece will be with us for a long time and it seems to be of good quality, especially for the price point. Happy with my purchase and would recommend! ... show more

I was in need of a piece of furniture for our media room to go under our moxie screen to hold electronics as well as to store items. I already has this piece on my radar as an option until I ran across it in one of my clients' house. It went from a "maybe" to a "I HAVE to have it!" What's to love: 1. The silver color is rich and luxurious. 2. Construction is EASY with the locking mechanisms- no screws, lock washers, etc., etc. I literally laughed out loud when I saw the "build time" on the instructions listed at 10 minutes...it legit took about that, maybe a little bit more but seriously- it was SUPER easy and the construction is solid. 3. LOVE the bun feet! 4. This piece is STURDY. 5. It offers a ton of storage and the shelves are deep enough to accommodate a big receiver. 6. Openings in the back allow for ease of feeding cords through. I cannot say enough about this piece- it would be beautiful as a buffet in a dining room as well. ... show more
