This is simply a fantastic blender! I purchased this to match a couple of the other items in the collection and I am super pleased! I’m using this for smoothies, the crushed ice and frozen fruit, and it works well. It’s super powerful, easy to use, and blends quickly. The jar lifts off easily, and comes apart with just a twist for cleaning. But what I really recommend about this is how powerful it is for the nice size. It’s not too big in bulky, it’s not super loud, it’s the perfect combination of size and power. It’s also nice looking on your counter, and matches the toaster that I purchased. I like that they sit nicely together and are well designed. It has great features that I like, easy to use preset touchscreen that disappears when not in use. Simple controls that are understandable, and a nice big carafe that sealed tight so there’s no mess. It’s a strong blender at a really great price, I’m super pleased, and totally recommend. Update after another week of using… the presets are great, thoughtful and the smoothie setting is great - crushes ice, blends smoothly and works great. This blender works well and the base is heavy / sturdy. I would have preferred a blender with a glass pitcher rather than plastic. I know the description says "BPA Free" ... I just missed interpreting that as 'plastic'.

I’ve been using this Martha Stewart blender daily and it’s been great so far. It’s a solid blender for smoothies and shakes. It blends frozen fruit and ice really well without leaving chunks. The high-speed blender settings are easy to use, and it doesn’t feel overly complicated. I also love the design. It looks really clean on the counter with the hidden display and matches my other Martha Stewart kitchen appliances by adding a cute pop of blue to my kitchen. Also, cleanup is quick, and the pitcher feels sturdy. For the price, it’s a really good affordable countertop blender with strong blending power. This was disappointing. I didn't read it well enough to realize it was a plastic jug. From the first initial wash to the third and last time I used it there was a constant burnt plastic smell. It also stopped working the third time I used it, which is why it is the last time I'll use it. I did not over load it or make the beverage too think, the machine had too many plastic components that did not hold up or last for a significant time to justify the cost. ... show more
