My 15 lb Velcro Dog fits nicely in this new little seat and it keeps him safe and comfortable (despite his constantly complaining about not being in my lap) for our drives. It's up off the seat enough to allow him to look out the window and access the breeze without risk of injury and to also provide space for a bag or backpack or other cargo under the pet seat. I really appreciated the bonus collapsible water dish and the cleanup bags and dispenser. Love that the seat itself has multiple pockets for stashing necessities like a leash, treats, etc. The construction seems well done and solid. I appreciate the metal frame and the panel that provides extra rigidity to the front of the box. I was worried the bottom would not hold up to a dog's weight and constant movement, but this is wonderfully sturdy without being bulky or heavy. It was easy to install in my CX5 and I look forward to many safe travels with my buddy. Some advice I may have missed in the packaging: Make sure you use a well-fitting harness and not your dog's collar to clip the restraint to. You risk harming your pup if you attach this to a collar or a loose harness. Also make sure you give your friend enough slack to change position comfortably but not enough to escape from the seat.

This was super easy to install and my dog loves it! I drive a pick up truck and my very nosy 7 pound dog would stand in the passenger seat looking out the window. She would run across my lap to look out my window and then wiggle around and run to the passenger seat to look out the other window. Back-and-forth during the whole drive. It was very distracting & uncomfortable for me while I was driving. I wanted to get a car seat for her so she could see out of the windows without jumping onto my lap. She was a little hesitant about it at first but now she jumps right into her car seat when we get in. She sits still, and just loves the 360 view. She is so well behaved in her seat that I don’t even have to use the clip to attach her to it. She sits quietly, and just looks out the windows. I also love that it is easily collapsible if I have another human in the truck with me. I just collapse it and put it behind the seat.

I like the little car seat fits nicely fetch my dog nicely plenty of room in the description it says that you can remove the liner and the bottom liner for washing but my dog has car sickness and removing those items twice already is a real pain in the ****. It's almost like dismantling the whole thing. So my bright idea was to go get doggy pee pants big enough to cover the whole inside and outside and I think that will work very well it gives them a nice pad to sit on instead of plastic I can pull it out and throw it away I wish that these companies would provide a throwaway or disposable liner that fits the doggy seat better and maybe they'll pick up on the idea.

Was pleased that it is not flimsy and holds my dog up well. She is 15 lbs and rids in it happily. It is tall enough to keep her in it and in place if I have to hit the brakes. I don't worry about her flying out. I can keep my eye on the road and see her secured next to me. We had a lot of issues with her nonstop winning in the back. If you have a bad back the lifting in and out is tough. She can't jump in from the road or out without being lifted. I did have to use a wedge a small pillow behind it to help it sit straight. My seats make it tip forward without it but that was an easy fix.

I love the clip I can attach to his harness to keep him in the seat. Very good product. Would highly recommend.

Definitely spend the extra money and buy the blue and white striped one! I bought both, the black one too cause my car interior is black leather. I wanted to see which I liked better! The quality is 100% different! The black one was cheap, didn't have a removable pad, cheap buckles and very cheap thin holders! The blue stripe one is very high quality! Extra thick straps to hold on the seat and the inside is way better quality, soft with a removable washable pad! I highly recommend this product. But ONLY the striped one! The others quality is very cheap! Also no brand on it as shown in pictures!

I should have purchased this seat a long time ago. I never understood why my dog did not like to ride in the car with the best seat. She had the entire back seat and could see out either window. Her complaint was that she could not get up to the window and hang her head out. So I finally purchased this seat after trial and error, although she still pitches a fit when I don't let her hang her head out like she wants. I like that the seat has its own adjustable strap at center back to ensure the dog stays in place and not too far to the window and not too far into my lap. I really like that the sturdy strap wraps around the entire seat in two places. And the cushion in the seat itself is nice and soft although she always has to have a blanket. I wish that the cover around the frame was a little more padded and softer as most little dogs skeleton frame is much more fragile and they love thick & soft velvety material.
