This ottoman from Marsail is a great addition to our home! It comes in a rather small box, it is air compressed and puffs up pretty quickly as soon as it is exposed to air. It does slowly finish expanding over the next 24-48 hours and firms up a bit as it does. It is a fairly firm foam when finished expanding. I have even temporarily set my water glass on it without it tipping over. The ottoman is light enough that it can easily be moved around the house but not so light it slides around when you sit down on it. The material states corduroy but it has more of a velveteen finish than I would expect for corduroy fabric. We have been using it in front of the couch. It is so comfy to prop your feet on. It also works great as a table to play cards, board games. That is, when we can get the cat to move off. Our two cats seem to think it is a cat bed so we have to negotiate to use it ourselves. It also doubles as an extra seat if needed. I ordered this in the gray color - it is a medium gray. I would definitely recommend! DONT DO IT. It looks soo bad and its so poorly made. The cushions are springy and sag on sides so you fall into the cracks. My dog wont even sit on it. Back cushions and “pillows” are super thin and you can feel the metal bars behind them. It honestly looks like someone drew a couch with crayons and it magically became real. Its cartoonish in its badness. Now i know not to get a couch with cushions that come vacuum packed. I only have myself and previous good reviews (how?!) to blame. ... show more

When finished assembly it sets to low and the backrest is flimsy and doesn't support you . Overall it looks cheapy made. However if you buy a foam insert and put underneath the seat cushion it will work...JT

The media could not be loaded. This Corduroy ottoman comes in a vacuumed packaging and it’s easy to unpack. The corduroy finishing is comfortable to touch and the 31” height is great to sit on. It brings a cozy home decor into our cozy home.

I am really happy with it. To describe it simply: it is basically a big, firm foam box. But honestly, I really like it! The high-density foam provides excellent, consistent support for your legs and feet without sagging or losing its shape. It also requires absolutely zero assembly... you just pull it out of the box and it's ready to use. Aesthetically, it looks fantastic. The gray is a really great, versatile shade, and the soft corduroy fabric gives it a very cool, cozy texture that elevates the look of the room. The build quality is also genuinely impressive. It is exceptionally well-made and surprisingly heavy, which, along with the non-slip base, ensures it stays firmly planted exactly where you put it. My cats absolutely love it too! I am reviewing a 31” gray ottoman. The listing has since changed. Make sure you read the description of what you’re ordering. The ottoman arrived vacuum sealed in a smaller than expected package, and upon opening inflated pretty quickly. It is a near perfect rectangle. The edges and corners are not perfect, but for a foam box, they are pretty decent. The value when I purchased it was pretty good, but has since changed. I do like that it’s part of a larger set of modular furniture that can be pieced together and tailored to meet your needs. ... show more

not going to lie. it showed up in a much larger box than i was expecting. if you live in a old town building/condo up a few floors. this is the kind of thing you should be buying. shows up in a small-ish box and self-inflates to a large sturdy thing. i wasn't expecting it to be as strong as it is. and honestly. not having something hard in something you rest your feet on... pretty good idea! supper comfy! i constantly have to have my right leg propped up for healing from an injury and this works great! ... show more
