Its comfortable but if you are looking for something to stay cool unfortunately this is not it. But for the thickness and comfort it is worth it. Just get some good sheets to help with the cooling effect.

It looked exactly like the picture and I couldn’t hardly pull myself away from my bed for the first week! It’s like laying in a big bed of pillows but before… my old 12 year old mattress was the hardest one I could find when I purchased it and it did help my back but it started hurting my shoulders and I couldn’t take it any longer as I am not getting any younger and my body hurts a lot… great help for me until I am able to buy a new mattress if I do at all… that’s a whole new nightmare… love the fit and perfect sizing for my queen mattress and it goes from corner to corner. I got the 3 inch version and it is wonderful!

I was worried it might be low density np, not so. Nor too dense. The egg crate design really is comfortable. I am not sure the ‘blue’ part is truly cool but it is still a fine topper at a bargain price.

If you want a topper for comfort and low price, this is for you. If you are looking for a cooling topper like I was, this is not for you. I had to put a comforter over the top to keep from sweating, but I can definitely tell a difference in comfort and no more neck pain.
