This tent is very portable and lightweight. You won't be able to stand in this tent since it's only about 4ft high. It's great for single person use. 2 people could fit in a pinch but there's not much room inside for a second person with gear. My 2 adult large breed Goldens took up most of the space inside when I set this up. If you do the math conversion into humans, they are smaller than adult humans but take up a good amount of space for their weight and size. The tent poles are very lightweight. I'm assuming they are aluminum, but not as thick and heavy as other poles with similar construction. The ground stakes are about 6 or 7 inches long, also thin and lightweight. You may want longer and or thicker/heavier stakes to keep this from blowing away. Setup was mostly easy. I experienced a little trial and error with the poles but it went up fast and easy once I figured out my mistake. There's no assembly instructions, you are on your own, but it's easy enough to figure out, especially if you have experience pitching a tent. If you are new to camping and tent assembly, it's still easy. I only had problems because I am used to working with the same old tent for a while now. This style was new to me. The materials feel durable. Nothing ripped when my dogs took up residence in it. If it was able to handle their toenails without tearing, it will hold up to rocks, sticks and typical ground cover. Everything is sewn together well. There's no obvious manufacturing errors. The zippers work well and slide easily without sticking. This tent also comes with 2 small stools. They just pop right open with no real assembly required. They are great to use in a pinch but not very comfortable and probably a 200 lb weight capacity at best. That's a generous guess too. There's enough room in the carrying bag to swap out the included seats with something similar in size but more comfortable. I was able to fit an additional tarp for ground cover and a fold up side table in the carrying bag with the tent and seats. The bag has some room for additional items, if you choose to add that weight to the bag. To keep this tent lightweight and very portable, it's smaller, shorter, the tent pegs are short and the poles are thin. That's what you sacrifice to have the lighter weight. If none of that bothers you, then this is a great durable one person tent. It's a good value for them price. I would recommend this product ... show more

I was impressed by the shape and design and the aluminum poles (3) seem to be of good quality material. Pros: Roomy for two people, can sit up in tent, stable in the wind when using guy lines, good thin aluminum poles with shock cords, nice vestibule, door has no see-'um window that has fabric panel to zip up for warmth and privacy and for good ventilation control, fly is taped, my price was under $60 including Tax with Amazon coupon. Cons: Two people to carry for backpacking, thin stakes (I replaced with ground hog type on the trip), walls got wet on inside by condensation mostly and driving rain. About 1/4 cup water through the walls see photos (but overall stayed Dry), floor didn’t leak as it is taped like the fly. Floor material is a thick plastic weave with rubbery shine. Took it out car camping after receiving it from Amazon to the top of Mt Cheaha the highest point in Alabama (only 2409 ft) in Feb of 2024 it was windy up there and the second night it rained for a few hours. I did not guy the tent the first night, but noticed in hard gusts (~35m/hr) the tent deformed so I guyed it for my last two nights (the poles where not damaged by the deformation). The second night it rained with wind gusts and some water was forced through the fly and tent wall. but once the spots were wet leaking was at a minimum. just the foot of my sleeping bag got damp so overall I stayed dry. The third night it didn't rain, but was still windy and I could tell the guying made a difference in the noise and fluter of the tent. the temperature outside was about 40f the inside was about 50f because it is not a mesh tent like a lot are these days. Some condensation 2 vents on the peak of the tent help keep the tent vented. Adjustment can be made by opening the window on the front door a little to all the way open as desired for airflow. Also the vestibule door can be adjusted for air flow. I'm happy with it for an all season car camping tent for my dog and I. When I got back I sprayed the Fly with silicon water "proofing" sealant hoping next trip it won't leak at all. I could see taking it backpacking if two people share the load. ... show more

This was easy to assemble and is a pretty standard pole tent. I was able to get it up and together on my own within about 15 minutes. It fits 1 person comfortably but if 2 people have all their camping equipment, it's going to be pretty snug once you get your mats and bags down and have you packs and all your stuff inside as well as 2 people. Possible but probably not the most comfortable. I used this on my own and help it was plenty of space for just me. It kept me dry (although full disclosure I only experienced a little sun shower. I didn't have any proper rain fall for any length of time to give an honest review on it's waterproof capability) but it was sturdy, stayed up the whole night and kept the cool air out. ... show more

Compared to other tents I've owned, I found this one to be significantly easier to setup. I attribute that mostly to the hooks that attach to the support rods, which means you don't have to feed the rods through parts of the tent before standing them up. That's a big plus in my book. The quality of materials is respectable though I wouldn't consider this a tent made for durability. It easily fit 2 kiddos in it for a couple nights with plenty of space to move around. Two adults would not be the same story if you needed gear to be inside the tent as well. The included stools are a bonus and work well enough that we'll keep them in our RV for future use. Overall I'm very happy with this tent and would recommend it. ... show more
