I received my new White Duck Regatta 16.5' Bell-style tent, and I have to say, I couldn't be happier with it. It was shipped earlier than expected and received in perfect condition. The instructions say to set it up and soak it with a hose before you plan to first use it, to season the tent and make it more water repellant - so I did. Set-up was quite easy and the tent looked great standing there in the back yard (my 3-year old son had a blast running around inside the tent and yelling out the mesh windows). We tried to soak the tent with the garden hose, but the water just kept running off. Eventually, it started to look like the material was actually getting wet, and we made sure to try to saturate every bit of the canvas. After sitting overnight, I went in with a towel to clean up any puddles, but the inside of the tent was dry as a bone! I can't wait to take this thing camping in a few weeks!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE - 9/8/2022 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- We just got back from our first camping trip with this tent, and I have to say that I'm still as pleased as the day I wrote my initial review. It's like a TARDIS in there!!! It looks a little big from the outside after it's set up, but wait until you start to actually put your gear into it. We took 7 large totes, a queen inflatable bed, a toddler inflatable bed, and other various sundries with us, and with the totes around the walls, and with the beds inflated, there was still so much room in the middle of the tent that my whole family could have lain down in the empty space and not touched each other! Most importantly, it stayed bone dry in the tent through an entire day of thunderstorms and downpours. When the rain started, I made sure the windows were mostly closed (a little gap at the top), and the door was zipped at the bottom (I left the vertical zipper unzipped for air flow and only a few drips came in - I would've zipped that one too if the wind was blowing from that direction). We spent a lot of time sitting in our canvas palace, marveling that we didn't need to mop up any errant puddles throughout the storm. My family loves this tent - I can't wait to go camping (glamping) in it again!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE - 11/28/2022 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- We have been camping with this tent two more times since my last update, and I am no less impressed with this tent than before. We have been rained on at every camping trip we've taken with this tent so far, and this tent continues to keep us dry. A few weekends ago, my family went to Alabama for a 4-day event, and we had purchased a wood-burning stove in anticipation of winter temperatures, but it did not get really cold until our last night there, so we only got to use the stove for one night. With temperatures in the low 30's, we stayed cozy and warm all night. Even with another adult on another queen mattress staying with us for the event, we still had plenty of room in the tent for my family and all of our gear. I can't say enough good stuff about this tent. BTW: the stove I got was the "Winnerwell Large Nomad Tent Stove", it is awesome! I purchased the stove, a "Winnerwell Triple Wall Chimney Pipe, 3.5 Inch Diameter", and the "Winnerwell Flashing Kit," and the stove fit perfectly in the tent (the Triple Wall pipe was at the correct height to exit through the Flashing Kit without needing to purchase any additional parts). I highly recommend this set-up if you plan on putting a stove in your White Duck Regatta 16.5' Bell tent. FYI: Make sure to protect the bottom of your tent from the heat of the stove. I brought a welding blanket for under the stove, but I still needed to place a barrier of split wood under the stove to keep from melting the floor. Next time, I'll probably take a few sheets of 3/4" plywood to put under the welding blanket (2' wide x 3' long should be more than adequate). ... show more

I rarely take the time to write a review of anything as I expect it to work as advertised. However, I was very impressed with this tent on all levels. I purchased it for a 10 day trip into the woods. I took the time to season it as recommended and it worked great. I purchased the 10' model. It is well made, and easy for 1 person to put up. during the trip, there were 3 days of heavy rain and not a drop found its way inside the tent. Everything stayed dry. It even held up well to the 15-20 mph gusts of wind. very impressed. ... show more

Bought this tent because I work events - music events and such. I needed to stay on site for about a month, and boy am I glad I bought this tent.. I went for the 13’ as I’d have tent-mates for part of the time. The inlet for electrical cords was useful, I ran a plug in for an ac unit which I routed through the heater hole, and a mini fridge. Tent held up well even in South Dakota storms, you just “season” it by wetting it down once. It took the pouring rain, wind and mud like a champ. Even the surprise river after the rain didn’t make it through the tent. The wind loosened up some guy lines but that’s an easy fix. I did bend a couple of the stakes, because the ground was real tough. The door was nice and tall so you didn’t have to crawl in the tent. The windows that zip open were great. The light color did pretty well in the blazing sun, too. I will say, though, you really need two people to set this up, I couldn’t do it on my own. No biggie, though. This isn’t a set it up for one night tent, but if you plan on staying a few days it’s worth it. Would absolutely buy this again! ... show more

I live off grid. I’m living in my 13’ while I’m building my shack. I’ve only had it up for a week, but I’m very impressed with the quality. Everything from the stakes to the tent it self. Very easy to put up. Only flaw I’ve seen is the front pole. It’s about 1” to 1 ½” to long had to pull stake up at front of the door so there wasn’t stress on the zipper. Other option would be to cut it down. Besides that I’ve had no problem with it. All the zippers are heavy duty and I hope they last I’ve had many tents and the zipper always wears out. First time owning a canvas tent. I have to say it’s a lot quitter than a conventional tent when the wind blows. One thing I will say I hope you have a shaded area to put in. It’s 45 degrees outside and 75 in the tent with all the doors and windows open. I’ll have to get a 12 volt exhaust fan to pull some of the heat out. Also I ordered a reflective tarp to block the sun. Besides that I highly recommend this tent. I’ve noticed a few comments about the warranty. I talked to white duck directly. It’s the same warranty if you buy it from Amazon or white duck directly. One more thing. If you can afford it I’d get the 16’. I’m in the 13’ and wished I would have got the bigger one. Especially since I’m living in it. 13’ is a good size everything fits. Just wish I would have gone bigger. In this case bigger is better. ... show more

The 10 ft tent is actually smaller at the floor. It measures 9'8' from further most corner to corner and from door to back corner 8'5". So a little smaller, but doable for two person camping. We are not looking for a glaming tent. Just one that does not need a fly! A Lot of head room. Has not been in rain yet so don't know if it will leak at the grommet where the front pole inserts . I love this tent Got it right before the rainy season. Luckily I was able to “season” it well before hand. (Getting it wet and then letting it dry out) It held up so well through the rainy months, and I even used it in the snow I kept quite warm in there with my heater, or you can install a wood burning stove.
