I did not believe it until I seen it. Yes, you really just pump it up with a hand pump. It took about 20 minutes and we had to switch off because it exhausted us. I am not sure if we could use and electric pump or not. I would not want to over do it and it pop or something. It is plenty big enough inside for 4 people and all your stuff. I just tried putting the tent up this week. After 3 days of trying to use the (broken) pump that came with it, searching my home for an alternate pump, and going to the hardware store to buy a NEW one (wrong end, none of them fit the intake hose on the tent), I am seriously considering returning this and getting my money back. If I had decided NOT to put it up in the side yard BEFORE I went camping, and hadn't been able to camp, I would have written the most scathing review on this page and recommended that NO ONE buy it. As it is, we will see what Baralir wants to do about it. I am giving 3 stars pending a response. Update: 2 days later an the tent is half up with an electric pump. This tent in NO WAY goes up in minutes with a hand pump as advertised. I paid $421.99 American dollars for this piece of garbage and I cannot blow it up. I gave Baralir 1 star for sending me a replacement hand pump, which to my knowledge has not even shipped as yet, gently suggesting that they send it express at which time I was informed that they would send it by way of UPS or the U.S. Postal Service, which would take at least 3-5 business days. They dont care enough about me after paying over $400 to overnight a cheap plastic hand pump. So I can use their substandard product. Thank you this is the fastest easiest tent ever! I also like how you can get to the inner tubes if you have too and the rain flaps on the doors are excellent! The tent was set up a few days after I received it and has been up ever since because we have gotten some ungodly amount of rain in the past 6 weeks. To my amaze not a drop made it inside the tent! Spent an hour with the hand pump and bought an expensive air pump to inflate it. Absolutely does not inflate - I’m an Eagle Scout and have done extensive camping. Despite me best efforts, couldn’t get the tent more than half inflated with a high quality electric pump following instructions exactly.

Purchased this September24,2022. Had no trouble other than slow set up. Took it for our first camping trip and was very pleased. Set up a few more times through the fall. Packed up and put away until spring of this year when the interior air tubes cracked and deteriorated. No way to replace them so it's a waste of money. ... show more

Pretty cool little tent - bought as an outdoor alternative to Christmas - space heater and a movie projector for the kids - keeps them occupied - big problem if I ever wanted to use this in the great outdoors - the bottoms of both doors do not have zippers - longer flaps - but NO ZIP - I’m not necessarily scared of night time creepy crawlies but I sure don’t want to be caught with one investigating any part of me or my residence even if I am on their turf when I do it ... show more

This tent is definitely not the same tent advertised. The windows are square and no black mesh screens they are tan mesh screens. The front of our tent kept bending inward when we tried to stake in the ground so we had to tie them to the trees on either side to keep the tent from caving in. It’s roomy enough for 2 people if you have small kids you can fit two more. There is a rope/string in the middle of tent that we hung a set of light weight lights on.
