I did not believe it until I seen it. Yes, you really just pump it up with a hand pump. It took about 20 minutes and we had to switch off because it exhausted us. I am not sure if we could use and electric pump or not. I would not want to over do it and it pop or something. It is plenty big enough inside for 4 people and all your stuff. Bought to camp with the kids and although it’s roomy and I like guide string adjusters, it would not stay inflated and would collapse after 5 or 6 hours of being set up…it only requires a few pumps to get it back, it’s not something you want to do at 3am with your kids now awake.

This tent is awesome. Easy to put up. Just know it's like anything that blows up, you have to add a little more air every 3 days.

    • Not as roomy as you think.
I originally bought a bell tent that I loved but it was destroyed by a fallen tree. So I decided to give this one a try. First, it took me forever to blow it up. I couldn’t figure out how to keep the air pump in the hole. Once I did, it took about 8-10 min to inflate. The pump that comes with the tent is the only one that will inflate it so I wouldn’t bother with any other. Second, I had a 3m bell tent and it was al nice a size. I could fit a queen bed, coffee camping table, 2 camping chairs, wood stove, and storage containers. This tent barely fit my queen bed. It was wall to wall and since the doors don’t shut at the bottom I could feel the cold on the bottom of the blow up mattress. The only other thing I could fit was a small table and some wood for the stove. Lastly, I had to cut a hole in the roof because there as no stove jack.. I knew that beforeI bought it, I just didn’t enjoy cutting a hole in my tent. This text can fit 2 people. Cozied up. It’s very small. It’s great for small children. ... show more

Thank you this is the fastest easiest tent ever! I also like how you can get to the inner tubes if you have too and the rain flaps on the doors are excellent! The tent was set up a few days after I received it and has been up ever since because we have gotten some ungodly amount of rain in the past 6 weeks. To my amaze not a drop made it inside the tent! Pretty cool little tent - bought as an outdoor alternative to Christmas - space heater and a movie projector for the kids - keeps them occupied - big problem if I ever wanted to use this in the great outdoors - the bottoms of both doors do not have zippers - longer flaps - but NO ZIP - I’m not necessarily scared of night time creepy crawlies but I sure don’t want to be caught with one investigating any part of me or my residence even if I am on their turf when I do it ... show more
