Nearly half the price. Of the remarkable brand pen this is a wonderful substitute. I lost my original, purchased this. I noticed the difference. I ended up buying an original so that I would always have 2 in case I lost one. I then decided to only take this one when I went out with my remarkable. Perfect! It is great for short term use and I am comforted in knowing if I loose it, it won’t break the bank. The point last about as long. So it is not quite as smooth on the surface but everything else is perfect.

I really like this marker for the most part, but the eraser is a bit too strong. You do not need to be touching the screen for the eraser to start removing what you wrote - you can be hovering a good inch or two off of the screen and it'll erase. That means if you twirl the marker or move it around while thinking of how to write something, and your hand is over the tablet when you do so, you may accidentally erase parts of what you wrote. If you notice it right away, you can just hit the undo button and everything is fine...but I find myself noticing it later on when I'm trying to review notes and such and find blank gaps in my writing....sometimes removing vital information that I needed. I'm trying to train myself to avoid situations where I may accidentally erase stuff, but it's kind of annoying that I have to since I never had this issue with the "official" marker. Other than the eraser strength, I do like this marker quite a bit, but I can't bring myself to give it a 5 out of 5 after some of the headaches that the eraser has caused me that the "official" marker never caused.

I actually thought I was buying original remarkable 2 plus pens. But I figure I would try it out before sending back. It writes amazing and even has slightly less drag that original. But improves my hand writing which I usually get compliments on. Eraser works great and may even be stronger that original as it has a detent or movement in the end of pen. So far my only negative is that the pen is so smooth that dropping it may happen more frequently. The original pen plus has a smooth but almost velvety texture that would provide a little more texture to hold on to. But again I just received and will see how it holds up.

I have never used the factory stylus but this one seems to do everything it's supposed to do. Good feel, writes well, cheaper than factory model. 👍 Edit: This stylus seems to have a 40 day lifespan with me. Nice while it works but starts chipping at the nib holder after a while. My less expensive pens work fine & last longer than this one. Won't buy another one.
