    • Sturdy and well designed but needs modification for square rails
I'm using this on a pontoon boat with 1 1/4 square rails. The included U-bolts just weren't long enough to make that work, so I substituted an aluminum plate with 1/4" bolts. That's working great for me (and I sort of expected I'd need to do that), but if you're not up for minor fabrication and you've got square rails you might need to look elsewhere. The actual anchor holding abilities of this are great - it holds tight without rattling yet is easy to remove and use. ... show more

    • U bolts not long enough, mailed two different products
I went to install these this morning and the U bolts are not long enough. I have 1" rails and with the rail and mounting plate, you cannot get one thread on the nut. To add to my fury you sent me two different brackets that have different styles.... thanks a lot.... not
