    • 3" net, perfectly good for scooping guppies out from 5 gallon tank

Exactly what I needed for my 5 gallon vertical tank that contains 5 male guppies. Sometimes I do a partial water change, sometimes a full water change down to the gravel. When it is the latter, clearly I need a net so I can scoop them out and put them in a temporary holding dish. The 3" net is as big as I want to go to grab my guppies, and this one is working out well. I never need to go too far down into the tank, so the 10" length works out just fine. So far so good! I didn't need a big bulky net. I wanted one to clean an outside solar fountain. A small fountain. One that gets an occasional small leaf or two that need to be fished out to keep it clean and flowing. A larger net would make it tough to get junk out of the small spaces.     • Skimming My Inflatable Pool

Got the 3inch size and its working well to skim my inflatable pool. Anything bigger might have been unwieldy; anything smaller would not have been as effective. Coworker taught me a trick of whirpooling with the net-a few spins in a circle then back and forth and the pool looks great. Catching things I can barely see with my eyes. Took a while for it to be delivered but definitely doing the trick for the mini-pool. ... show more

The first time I used it the netting wrapped around the wire frame started tearing resulting in holes around the plastic covered wire corners that will get bigger with use. So if the netting rubs up against any sort of porus or abrasive suface (pretty much anything other than a smooth glass surface) it will tear unless you are careful. ... show more

I got this fine mesh aquarium net to use as a skimmer for a twin tub washing machinewhich I use for dog laundry. It will allow me to remove most of the dog hair floating on water before draining it into my bathtub. I have drawstring mesh bags tied on the drain hose to also catch dog hair that It misses. I can wash their clothing, pee pads and blankets and strain out their hair to avoids stopping up drains pretty effectively with this net. ... show more

This little fish tank net arrived on time and in good condition still in its wrapper. It has worked very well for me and I especially like the small size of it. I do not have a big fish tank so, I needed a smaller net. The net and handle are blue. The mesh of the net is breathable with just very tiny holes; they are so small that I can scoop up debris in the tank yet the water falls through, which is what I wanted this for.
