Was super excited to finally get a pair and now I’m super disappointed that I got them. Opened up the box and slipped them on this morning before work and loved them. They’re comfortable, light, and felt rigid enough to make me think they’ll last for a long time. Boy was I wrong. Fast forward to now, I’m starring at them with disappointment while writing this review. As I was working, I was kneeling down on one or two knees trying to unclog a drain. When I was done, I stood up, looked down, and what do you know I have a pair of brand new boots with barely any leather left on the toes. Now I’m not one that picks their feet up when crawling around on the floor so I’d expect some scuff marks in the future. But nearly all of the leather gone in one day is absurd. I mostly do light duty work (I work maintenance for a school district) so I bought these because it said it’s perfect for light duty. I planned on keeping my old pair for the bigger jobs just because I’d like to be presentable when walking around the schools. But these boots are made for an office job. Heck probably better off being house slippers. The second photo shows the boots I had before and they were more durable than these and they were Walmart brand. I had them for about 2 years. I’m sure if I was to keep wearing these they’d look like my old pair in little as a week. I’m hoping I can return them and get my money back.

This is my second pair of brunt boots. I'm writing this review over a year since I bought them. They are still holding up OK, however the sole on the left boot, near the toe is starting to separate. This is why I replaced the last pair I bought. Durability as xompared to other boots I've had: the lifespan is a little longer. I usually get about one year out of any given boot (for reference I've had a few pairs of wolverines, many pairs of carolinas,1 carhartt, and have gotten at best a year out of each brand). As far as comfort goes, they are ok. It takes a little while to break them in, but they aren't too bad after that. For the price, they last longer than similarly priced boots. I'll probably buy another pair of brunts when I'm ready, which will probably be sometime before the snow flies (it is August at the time of me sitting this review).

I do residential construction/carpentry. They are heavier then every boot i have ever had. But they are well made. They were very uncomfortable for 3 weeks. To the point my foot was loosing blood flow. I bought a different brand 3 weeks in but by the time they arrived they had broken in. I still wear a different boot for carpentry. But i wear the brunt in my shop on concrete floor. They are hands down the best boot I've had for a concrete floor. But to heavy imo for carpentry work.

WARNING!!! People have been talking about these boots so I decided to give them a try. I am a union construction worker, I walk in dirt, mud, bridge decks, and rebar. If you do any of these like I do stick with your Irish setters or thorogood boots. I have only had these for 30 days and the sole has already separated. Now I’m not saying don’t buy because I didn’t have luck but there not built as good as advertised. The sole is not stitched they are glued on. As far as comfortability 7/10 and not that heavy. Also have noticed that after getting wet a couple times I can see the stitching around the top of the toes thru the leather. UNION LABORS stick to what your team is wearing these are in house boots.

I have had these for a little over a month now. I wanted to see how they wore before a review. They are the most comfortable work boots I have ever had. There is plenty of room in the toe area so your toes don't rub. There are durable. Working in a factory on hard concrete all day. These are like walking on pillows. I can tell you I will buy these again when I need a new pair. I highly recommend.
