I bought this after my stylist used it on my choppy, layered, mullet-esque cut. She noted that it was cruelty-free, which is a must for me, and I loved how it texturized my hair. I'd forgotten to ask what it was called/ what brand it was, but I remembered the color of the jar vividly, and was able to find it on amazon pretty quickly. If you have a layered cut, wolf cut, or mullet, I'd recommend this. I took one star off due to how expensive it is for such a small jar. It smells nice and has amazing hold, so when I wake up, I look more put-together than if my hair had no product in it. I always wear an eye mask to sleep, and whenever I wake up during the night, I push it up and I wake up with my bangs sticking straight up- this product helps to prevent this from happening. The only other issue I have is the feeling of my hair with just a tiny bit in. It's not exactly sticky, but it's tacky. Overall, I'm glad I have it on-hand, but with my mullet growing out, I'm using it less and I'm probably not going to spend another $30 on a travel-sized jar again. ... show more

I have a pixie cut and have used Kevin Murphy Night Rider for a couple of years. My stylist recommended this brand and I love it. It is not as think as Night Rider and easier to put in my hair. It gives texture with feeling greasy the next day.

Very disappointed. I ordered this exact product because my hairstylist uses it on my hair after cutting & styling my pixie cut. Then I got my own little jar of this product and we compared the jar I ordered to her jar which was a silky cream. My jar was old dried and like old wax.
