The safe is honestly a good safe. It has the ability to be secured into the wall if that’s what you’re interested in and comes with the hardware for it. It’s not a heavy safe so if you’re looking for something stationary that’s not movable then look for another product but like I said it gets the job done. It also has a light in it so you can find what your looking for, I do wish it stayed on longer or has a button to turn it back on when it turns off but again it gets the job done. So if this is the type of safe you’re looking for then go for it I’d recommend it.

I been wanting to get a safe for some time now to put in my closet. Its not like I have anything super valuable but I figure if me and my husband want to go on vacation it would be nice to know I could put a few things I value most in the safe and feel content that it will be safe while I am away. It was simple to put the shelf in and lock it in place. You can only get into it when you first get it with one of the keys then after you put batteries in the door which for some reason one of the batteries never fit flush not sure why but I finally got it to shut enough that it worked at least. Setting up the keypad is pretty easy and you set up 2 so if one locks you out all you have to do is remember the 2nd one. If you try to pick the box up and you have it in safety mode or put the wrong password in it will set off a loud alarm thats rather annoying only way to fix it is to open it with a key. On the inside it also comes with a light built in the door so when you open it makes it easier to see in that black hole inside. It holds a good amount of stuff inside too which is nice. Now the bolts that come with it I guess is to lock it down to the floor then again I rent so I can't do that but its fine its in my closet just the same. It is quiet heavy though so be warned but all in all its a good buy.

The media could not be loaded. My first impression of the safe was not great, so I was initially inclined to give it a mediocre review. That was because, upon unpackaging, the safe struck me as being much too lightweight and small. After spending a little time with it, however, my opinion changed. First, as to the size, the dimensions are accurately listed, and I should have known what I was getting for 0.5 cubic feet. I need to be less careless in checking measurements. So, that is on me. I left my Leatherman tool in my photos to give context to the safe’s size. And for a small size, similar to one tucked in a hotel closet, this seems quite good. I like that it is built to give a lot of depth in the interior, which maximizes the utility of the safe considering that the most placement locations (such as in between shelves or inside a closet) naturally will accommodate that depth. I placed the safe vertically, with the locking door facing upwards, in all of my photos to emphasize the depth. Second, as to being lightweight, you might be surprised (as I was) at just how easy this is to lift and move around. That gave a first impression of inadequate construction, especially the walls being too thin. But I changed my mind on that point, too, based on the lock. As I tried to show in the video I uploaded, the lock bolts that hold the door closed are disproportionately large and thick for a safe this size. I’ve used multiple hotel safes with bolts that extended not even half as far as these do and with much thinner diameter. Ultimately, this safe needs to be bolted to external surfaces to provide even minimal security—but that would be true even of a much heavier, denser metal construction, because at this size it would be able to be picked up and carried away by someone even at multiples of its weight. With that being true, the lock really matters more than the weight; and the lock bolts here are impressive. Overall, then, I can happily recommend this safe compared to competing products in its size and price range.

This is a great small-sized safe with the same features as your standard hotel safe. Of course the dimensions are different, and there's no hotel-key card reader. It comes with two anchors for wooden posts (including steel anchors), and there's three ways to open the safe (key, 2 different combinations). The missing star is for the relatively high weight of the door considering the thickness of all sides. The sides are sheet metal which are meant to prevent quick theft and will require tools in order to get in. Again, this is a great deal for a safe where the situation calls for not leaving valuables out. Be warned that the battery lockout also serves to lock out the physical key, so make sure to read the instructions carefully and even save them somewhere for the future. The inside comes with your standard padding, but it is only one level (although you can put a shelf or two in there if you'd like). This is not water tight, and the manufacturer specifically says not to put any loaded weapon inside (probably because of the thickness of the walls).
