🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The ab machine has garnered mixed reviews from consumers, with some appreciating its workout potency and others lamenting durability issues. While some users have found it effective and easy to use, significant concerns have been raised about its long-term reliability and consistent performance.

Pros

  • 🏋️ Effective workout tool for the abdomen
  • 🔄 Easy to adjust intensity and mode
  • 🔋 Rechargeable and not reliant on batteries
  • 🤸 Potentially aids muscle strengthening and toning

Cons

  • ⏳ Possible degradation in performance over time
  • 💪 The different modes and intensity levels can be overwhelming for some users
  • 🔄 No kill-switch to quickly turn off the device
  • 📦 Product size is one-size-fits-all, which may not suit everyone

Should I Buy It?

If you are looking for a tool that can supplement your abdominal exercises, this machine could be useful. However, be prepared for potential problems with its durability and performance consistency as it ages. It might be worth considering for short-term use, but dependent on your tolerance for its shortcomings.

  • A good buy
I recently purchased the MarCoolTrip MZ ABS Stimulator, and I must say, it has been a fantastic addition to my fitness routine. I’ve noticed an improvement in muscle tone since I started using the stimulator. The different intensity levels allow for a customized workout, whether I’m looking for a gentle session or a more intense muscle contraction. While it doesn’t replace traditional exercise, it certainly complements my routine and has helped me achieve better results in less time. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase. ABS Stimulator has delivered on its promises, providing an efficient and convenient way to tone my abs. It’s easy to use, comfortable, and effective. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to boost their fitness regimen with a reliable abs stimulator. ... show more

  • I’m surprised
I read the reviews after purchase but figured that since there was a return feature, trying it wouldn’t do much harm. To be brutally honest, the reviews left me feeling worried and part of me was hoping that mine would come in broken but everything works good. Battery works good, belt works too and I’ve had no real big issues with it so far. Now, you’ll see that I only gave it 4 stars and that’s because my complaint is that one of the buttons that connects the system to the belt is loose. It’ll pop off if I’m moving in a weird way (like scrunching the belt up with squats) which stops the belt from working and I’m learning what poses not to do with it on but other than that, everything is looking good. ... show more

  • Keeps abs sore for days
I have been curious for years. Can you get abs without sit-ups? Well I tried the ab belt and wore it while walking. It has upped my workouts and made my family try to take the belt so they can use it. I have lost 22 pounds while using the belt and adding cardio. It’s a great combo.

  • Very solid machine, when it worked
***5-MONTH OWNER UPDATE*** I highly, highly advise you to not buy this item. Please read all the negative reviews and take them seriously, they all note that this thing isn't durable and now I see that they were all correct. Do not buy this item unless you're fine with replacing it a few times a year. I have owned this thing for about 5 months, and while I had positive things to say about it at first (which you can read in my original review below), I am extremely frustrated because its performance has totally and suddenly degraded, to the point where it is no longer really usable at all. I use(d) this belt twice a day for 4-5 days a week, making sure to wipe off sweat and charge it at least once a week. Everything was fine, until about a week ago. Suddenly the strength of the vibrations became significantly weaker. I was on the 6th mode at 15 strength for a while, and I grew very familiar with how it felt. Now the 15 strength feels like how 5 strength used to feel, and anything under 10 strength barely tickles. The plastic piece just lost all of its power seemingly overnight with no change in routine or anything. To be clear this isn't related to my own growing tolerance or anything, the first 10 strength settings barely vibrate at all anymore, and it was not like this just a day earlier. What's even more frustrating is that the company that sells this item does not respond back to messages. I had to contact Amazon to be able to message them in the first place, there's no trace of them online and they don't make their contact info readily available. Not even an email address or a Facebook page. And of course, after several days they still haven't answered my message, I was trying to find out if this is covered by any kind of warranty. It was a $70 item, I'm genuinely so frustrated with all of this. The only reason I'm still giving this item two stars instead of one, is because I really did like it when it worked. It provided solid resistance to my abs and I grew to appreciate the routine of using it. But now it's barely functional and the seller doesn't bother to respond to messages. I don't think $70 is a fair price for an item that will only last a few months, and I'm really disappointed with this overall. ***ORIGINAL REVIEW*** Okay so I've been using this thing for a few weeks now and so far I like it. Obviously this isn't going to actually give you a six-pack but I have a noticed a very, VERY slight bit of tone in my abs - though I'm using this while also eating relatively healthy and exercising five days a week. This thing, on its own, will not produce significant results. But I like it as a supplement to my usual fitness routine, simply because I hate doing abdominal exercises and this does do a good job of mimicking the feel of crunches. I wear it twice a day, five days a week for 20 minutes each "session". That's exactly how much I can handle before the pain becomes genuinely difficult to bear. I'm currently on level 10, mainly using the sixth mode. There are six modes and each mode goes from level 1-15. I had to start at level 4 and have been working my way up every couple days. Even though I can handle level 10 on my preferred mode, I can't handle level 10 on any of the others - so each mode definitely provides a different feel, which I like. So I can recommend this thing, as long as you keep your expectations in check and understand that it isn't a miracle device. However I'm mostly writing this review because it has a couple of major problems that I want to address: First of all, not a huge deal, but I cannot get a read on the battery life for this thing. One time I had to charge it after a week of use, then after a day, then after a few days, despite my sessions all being the same length. When you charge it, it has a little red LED light, and when it's fully charged that light disappears. I wish it could alert you when you have a low battery, maybe by flashing red a few times when you turn it on. That would be helpful. My main issue however, is the fact that this thing doesn't have a kill switch. There are three buttons: the plus/minus buttons to increase or decrease your intensity level, and the M button to switch between modes. The difference between one level and the next feels massive. I was on level 8 for a few days, and thought I was ready to switch to 9. But I was wrong - level 9 immediately gave me a bad cramp that I couldn't handle. But because there's no kill switch, I had to rapidly click the minus button 10 times to turn the machine off, while wincing in pain the entire time. There needs to be an off button for this thing! It actually makes me a little anxious to increase beyond level 10. It was a massive cramp, like somebody kicked me in the side with all their strength. Genuinely cannot understand how they could overlook such an important feature like that. But that's only enough to reduce my rating by a single star, because overall this thing is still very good. It fits comfortably, it provides a solid "workout", it's easy to clean/store, features a decent amount of options, etc. And most importantly, it does seem to provide *some* difference, as I haven't changed my workout/diet while using this thing at all, yet I've observed a (very slight) change. And after only 3 weeks of use, I really can't complain about that! EDIT: I've been using this thing consistently for a few months and it definitely feels durable. I also noticed that the battery is pretty good actually, I charge it once a week which seems fine so far. Not as inconsistent as I originally thought. In regards to the lack of a kill switch I've found a bit of a workaround: when you switch between any of the six modes, the intensity level automatically goes all the way down to level one. I'm on level 15 at this point (only with the one mode I consistently use), and I no longer develop cramps at any intensity level. But if you DO need to quickly turn the machine off, simply click the M button once, and then click the minus button once. It's a bit clunky and I really do wish that it just had an actual off button, so I'm keeping this review at four stars. But it is at least better than what I was doing before (clicking the minus button rapidly to turn the machine off). Overall I've grown more positive about this machine over time, I definitely think it's worth getting if you use it consistently. Also I forgot to mention this in my original review but it charges via micro-USB which sucks, for the price it really should be using USB-C. ... show more

  • Feel The Burn
I LOVE this ab toner. Comes charged, easy recharging capabilities with standard USB port, but you do need the cord sent with toner. Don’t forget to spray the water, you’ll get a lil shock you weren’t expecting if not 🫨…. Use this for part of the day while I am working from home or doing things around the house on the weekends. Toner is fairly quiet and depending on your shirt tightness could be “hidden”. I feel more time after using this for about 1 month with no additional exercise!!! ... show more

  • Mode changes during use, all by itself
I have just go this product and used it twice so far. The good thing about it (and similar products) is the fact that you don't need to allocate dedicated time to do the exercise. However, when I set it to 2nd mode and increase to 4, after a while the belt starts doing something and intensifies the power to the point that I need to turn it off. In the photos, it looks much much wider but in reality it is almost the size of your palm. I was thinking it might work out all the abdomen muscles but apparently it can only activate the muscle around the belly button. ... show more
