I really needed a new set of knives… my boyfriend likes to reach for any sharp object to work on the car, outside, open packages *le sigh. Soooo I needed something, even to use as a decoy set! So needless to say, the spare set of scissors included was a definite bonus! I can hide them and chain the other to the wall lol! But seriously, so far it’s great. They do say hand wash only, my boyfriend put them in the dishwasher, but they held up so I'm not sure if they just won’t lasts as long if used in the washer, for the price I'm not too worried about it. (I snagged them on sale) If anything significant changes with them I’ll come update :) but so far I recommend, oh and the whole set was packaged nicely! ... show more

These are very sharp and durable. You are not supposed to put them in the dishwasher, but the husband did once, it just really backed on what was on the knife, luckily I have cut proof gloves because without trying I have cut myself multiple times since getting, but it is so nice to have a knife that easily cuts vegetables and bread and meat ... show more

This is such a bargain . I got the wood block . And green handle ensemble . The built in sharpener is great . Though not dishwasher safe , they are a snap to clean . The scissors Are terrific and the extra pair is appreciated . So much work goes into making this product !! My only complaint is the steak knife blades could be better . But definitely 5 star !!! ... show more
