I’ve been using this product since December 5th so tomorrow will be one month since i’ve been using it. I wash my hair almost everyday and have only been using this shampoo and the leave in conditioner from the same brand and I have noticed as well as others around me that my hair has grown a lot and gotten thicker. The smell is smooth and the consistency is thick so i don’t have to use as much which will make it last longer in the long run. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is because I have noticed a lot of shedding since using it, I don’t know much about hair stuff so it might be normal but I haven’t noticed any bald spots so I think i’m fine lol. I used this for years when I was modeling in my twenties because they used to sell it at ulta. It helped me grow my babyfine blonde hair down to my lower back multiple times. I recently had a bunch of my hair damaged by an ignorant hairdresser and have been desperately trying to find the best products to use to repair my hair. I’ve been using the shampoo for just a few days now so I can’t really say much about the growth rate of my hair, but my hair is so smooth and lays flatter! I have always had really puffy and frizzy hair and the only thing that really makes it lay that is if I straighten it. This shampoo make my hair feel like I’ve just been to the salon and had my hair done (which has also made my hair look longer cause it’s not puffed up) I really can’t smell it much in my hair, my conditioner and leave in conditioner takes over what my hair smells like.     • Affordability, Cleans Hair, But Stronger or Faster Growth(?)

Okay, I will give this product 3 stars. One for affordability, one star for fast service (it did arrive quickly after I ordered it) and one star for cleaning hair. However, as for stronger or faster growth--ehhh. Hair, typically grows about an average of 1/2 inch a month (don't believe me check it out). You can't always make it grow faster. There are things that can hinder growth, though, like lots of bleaching or chemical processing of hair that might cause breakage or lots of heat styling without protection. Hair growth is mainly determined by genetics and diet. Make sure to eat a good diet that will nourish those hair follicles foods rich in proline, lysine, biotin and keratin (which is protein building block of hair). So, while this shampoo is sulfate-free it is probably in the same class as other sulfate-free shampoos--gentle on colored hair and less stripping of natural oils, but that is about it. Should you still want to try it you can find it at some Walmart stores sometimes. As for me I prefer the shampoo I was already using, eat a good diet, get regular trims to take care of split ends and use a natural boar bristle brush. ... show more
