As I've gotten older the hair on top of my hair is thinning a bit and my scalp shows a bit more, even when it's grown out a bit. I bought this hoping it could thicken that area of hair up, and it's actually worked better than I expected! I've just combed a small amount of this through roots to tips with a brush when my hair is still damp, then allow it to dry. It has a light hold, so I either toss it with my hands or brush it a bit more, and optionally add light styling pomade if I want to shape it more. It's given my hair a lot more volume and thickened it so my scalp isn't showing, and generally lasts all day. The cream itself is smooth and not greasy, there's a smell but it's light and doesn't linger after applying. For my need it was exactly what I was looking for, great product! ... show more

I've tried more hair products than anyone should have to try in a lifetime. My hair is thin, fine, old, and as straight as it gets, zero body. I couldn't believe this styling cream works, but it definitely does work. My hair feels thicker, and it holds a little body even overnight. That's amazing! I admit that it makes my hair feel a little junky but I don't care, it works. I usually wash my hair 2-3 times a week, but if I have a special thing to attend, I usually wash it and use the cream. I have very baby fine hair and needed something to help volumize and hold. It also doesn't help that I wash my hair almost daily after swimming. Overall, this does volumize and I have not had any greasy feel. I use about a nickel-sized swirl rubbed between my hands and then combed through my hair. It almost holds too strong and makes my hair straight and hard to style with a comb through. If I scrunch my hair, it looks messy. Of course, I am a hair styling inept so I may not be able to blame it on the product. Only other complaint is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of product in the large tube.
