This privacy film was not only super easy to install, but it looks nice, noticeably cuts out lots of UV and provides privacy. Living on the base floor of the apartment complex i wanted the daylight from outside but did not want passer byes to view my living room. My elderly father needs more light without having to worry about people seeing in his house if he forgets to close the curtains on lower-level window sashes. If you used this in a shower you would be able to see the shadow shape of an individual's body. However, as long as you aren't directly up against the window it does a great job of providing privacy all day and night and allowing filtered light to come in during the day. It didn't come with the smoother device I thought it would, but I just used a credit card to do the same thing. The other thing was that it seemed to take longer to get than I expected. But the product is perfect for our needs, and I will probably buy more to use at my house on my lower window sashes near my driveway.

This product is about $3-5 more than the competition. I liked the fact that it was very easy to cut due to grid lines it comes with. Easy to work with and bubbles seem to disappear until it gets dark and all the imperfections are clearly seen. I’m mostly dissapointed about the minimal privacy it provides. This is not something I would use in a bathroom for sure. Was hoping for way more privacy but you can see almost everything from the outside especially at night which is a huge downfall. Will not be purchasing this product again!

I was looking for a relatively opaque treatment for sidelights. Perfect! It allows in some light but blocks the retina burning rays that blast through my front door! Can now sit on the couch to watch the news without shades.) Remember to use a good amount of water on glass prior to application. Then use a credit card to work from the top down to remove bubbles and excess water. Another note, position a towel below to catch the drips.
