I was pleasantly surprised by how well-built this carport is. The frame is solid and holds up well in wind and rain. The tarp is thick, tear-resistant, and provides great protection for my car. Assembly took some time, but the instructions were clear. I appreciate that it’s portable yet heavy-duty—perfect for my driveway. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a reliable outdoor car shelter without breaking the bank!

Make sure you inventory all parts that come with your item. I did and found that the kit was missing some locking mechanism from inside the tubes. Luckily I had some handy from the previous kit that I had ordered some time back. Carport was simple to set up by myself and the instructions were easier to understand once you get started. Highly recommend that you put a metal screw on the foot of the legs to hold the cap in place. Some of the attachments were very loose and you can’t tightened them. You can only add a metal screw to hold them together.

The instructions were straight forward and two of us assembled it in less than an hour. The tarp seems well made, heavy, fit well. The frame is pretty much made of the standard material. Overall I would recommend it.

I’m giving this item 4 stars because I didn’t really get to use it long enough to judge the full quality. The tarp thickness was great, the poles were powder coated, and everything seemed sturdy right out of the box. I bought this tent to use as a carport, but unfortunately it did not handle wind the way the description claimed it would. The listing said it could withstand up to 30 mph winds, and we only had 21 mph winds. On the first full day after assembly, the entire tent flipped onto its side, blew into my neighbor’s driveway, and scratched his car badly. All of the tent pieces were mangled beyond repair. I wish I could give a more complete review, but we had to take the tent down as fast as we put it up to avoid more damage. I did reach out to the company, and although it took some back-and-forth, we ultimately settled on a full refund. I didn’t want a replacement because I couldn’t risk this happening twice. We had to pay to have my neighbor’s car buffed out, and on top of that, I never got the coverage for my own car that I bought this for. While I appreciate the idea of offering a taller tent than competitors, the overall support and structural design just didn’t seem engineered to handle that height. It might have just been unlucky timing with a windy day, but given that the tent didn’t withstand the wind rating advertised, even with sandbags and weighted concrete pavers on the legs, I felt it was important to share my experience.
