What a great rug for the price and it’s very nice and soft, doesn’t slip around and will be easy to clean and vacuum. No smell or odor as others had mentioned in previous post. Order was very quick. Will purchase again from Maples. Very happy with this rug!!!

This wasn’t what I really wanted but I think it may have worked out better. I wanted a plastic or rubber mat for shoes along the wall by my front door. I was looking for 10-12 inches deep but like 50-60 inches long. I got this and cut it down the center with a straight edge. Then I zigzag stitched the raw edge with my sewing machine which went through the rubber backing with ease. Now I have two mats and when 1 goes in the wash the other swings into play. Bonus- this was really for wet winter shoes BUT…. In late May my trees drop sticky resin seed pods that stick to our shoes, our dog, everything. They leave annoying resin on my tile floors (the secret to removing it is hand sanitizer if this happens in your life). Anyway- the pods generally vacuum up ok and because this is carpet, they don’t leave a sticky green spot behind like on my tile. ... show more

This product came with very clear instructions on how to air it out before using to avoid oder from being packed tightly in plastic wrap. I draped it over our washing machine and left it in the laundry room with the vent fan on over night. The next day it was oder free. I guess some customers haven't heard the old saying, "when all else fails, read the instructions. And it does stay in place even when our dog runs over it at high speed. ... show more

I'm happy to support this small family-owned business. This inexpensive accent rug is beautiful. It has a latex backing & doesn't budge. It's perfect for a high traffic area. I'm deducting a point because the way it was finished off (on one side) immediately caught my eye. The stitching is irregular.
