I bought this rug to cover my floors because I have two dogs that get very muddy feet. I figured the price point was great so when the rug got really dirty, I could just throw it away and get a new one. To my surprise, the rug is nicer than expected. It’s not super thick, but it’s thick enough to protect the floor. The design colors match my walls perfectly. It truly is nonslip, so even when my dogs run on it and tackle each other, the rug does not move. Also, the rug came rolled and not folded like many rugs I’ve purchased on Amazon. There were absolutely no creases in it. The corners were a bit tucked under, but I just put a couple books on it for a couple hours and it flattened right out. This rug is so nice looking for where I am using it. I couldn't be more pleased. The non-slip back really IS non-slip. It lays flat, no bunching up, no problems. The colors are vibrant. It seriously couldn't be more perfect. I got one on sale, $20, couple weeks back and like it so much that I went ahead and got this 2nd one, same sale price, to stash in closet for future use when the 1st one gets old looking. And I predict that won't happen for a couple of years! But I figure in a couple years I won't find it again, plus the price of everything will have been continually rising, so "buy it now while you can get it" made sense to me. I'm a fan of Maples Rugs. US company, great colors and designs. I love that they are rubber backed. I dont need or want thick plush heavy carpeting everywhere. I actually prefer a thin rug, but that comes at the cost of needing a separate backer to keep them in place. I had stumbled upon a Maples Rug several years ago that was large enough to use as an area rug and had good rubber backing. I loved it, and I still have it, but recently I retired it as my mood for something else came up (now I use it outside). I didnt replace it with another Maples, if only because I didnt see the color/pattern I wanted. But I imagine at some point I will. Then there are other areas of the house where I have smaller Maples Rugs- in front of doors, etc. I have probably 6 rugs of assorted sizes from this brand. I just like it, a lot. Yes, they are thin, light, but that rubber backing is where it is at for me. If you need thick, plush, then seek elsewhere. I totally understand. These may not be for everyone because of the lightweight factor. On the plus side, no matter the size, they fold up or roll up easily for storage. When I decided to get a new little rug for my step dad, I immediately set out to look at Maples Rugs. He had a rubber backed rug that was falling apart and no longer had any grip on his ceramic floor. I bought this as a Christmas gift and he began using it immediately. I can toe it a little and it moves, so not sure if it is a matter of the rubber not being as grippy as my others, or it is simply the flooring that it is on. He has it in a cold spot of the house on a slick ceramic floor. Basically in a breezeway between kitchen and heading out to the garage. But it does slide around, and is way better than what he had. One note on vacuuming. I find that using the non beater bar option (like a floor option) is better than the carpet option. These are short knap, and the beater bar could eventually pull up on the fibers. Best to shake out the rugs and then vacuum floor, or just gently go over the rug itself. I have been looking for a rug for my kitchen and I needed like a 6 x 8… Just something flat that won’t move around but that provides a little bit of cushion and covers over a slightly damaged tile I have near my stove. After looking at (expensive ) rugables and others like that, I decided on this brand and I am super happy! It doesn’t roll up it’s simple and super affordable! My friends have rugables and they curl up -and you don’t wanna be tripping in the kitchen with a knife in your hand. In most cases who really needs to wash a rug? I bought this runner to go under the bar stools on my hardwood floors. The colors are bright and cheerful and added some personality to the room. They vacuum nicely and are easy to throw in the washing machine. If you are considering this rug and pattern, its a win win!

The rug has held up very well to having it vacuumed with my Hoover wind tunnel vacuum cleaner. It stays flat on the floor and it does not have fibers pulled from the rug which is a problem I have had with other cheap throw rugs. Nice rug. Color appears a much darker background than portrayed online but it's still very pretty. Seems well made and was perfect for what I needed. Would definitely consider other colors or another future purchase.
