I got one of these that the piston is jammed up in the cylinder. You can't actuate the lever, therefore, useless without complete disassembly and rebuild. I'm not interested in rebuilding junk. I have far better ways to spend my time. Don't waste your time.

I have to believe the item I got was used and returned. It came coated in a gross sticky oil and the lever would not budge. Being stubborn, I did a complete teardown to get it working again. It seems the sticky oil basically glued the piston in place, so the main fix was to clean everything thoroughly. This did teach me a lot about the product: Good: the tank is strong plastic, not cheap feeling. The top cover and handle are steel and plenty sturdy. The brass fittings also seem fine. Bad: the pump mechanism is pretty shoddy -- holes are drilled crooked, threads are really rough. It's functional but it ain't pretty. Interesting: the pump is a very simple design and is made of basic components (aluminum tube, threaded rod, rubber o-ring, etc). You could easily make one in the workshop. If this one ever breaks, it might be a fun little project. ... show more

Easy fill. Easy to pump. Has more output than the old pump. The tank is bigger so you don't have to fill it as often. I installed this on a Bridgeport vertical mill.

Super low price for a machine oiler. Says Right hand, but mounted just fine on the left side of my Bridgeport It just takes a little patience for it to cross the Pacific. Go price the Bijur, and you might not mind waiting a few extra days for this very decent knockoff.

    • Totally nonfunctional. Pump handle won't move.
