I am giving a general "recommend" however with a catch. This states mechanical red switches, however, I am suspicious of that claim until I tear the keyboard down. I had a Lenovo Y70 years ago that was also red switches so I know these are "silent" with no feedback. However, the Manbasnake feels awfully like a membrane keyboard which I can get for $5. Not saying Manbasnake is using those fake switches that have been going around. Those are switches that look legit but it's just a piece of plastic that pushes down a membrane which is virtually no different than a $5 keyboard you can get from Walmart or elsewhere. This keyboard FEELS like that to me. When there is another sale where the keyboard is under $15, I will buy another for a tear down and update this review. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It's lovely and backlit as advertised, be advised: left shift shares half of its space with the "|" key. I fatfinger a lot of stuff because of this. Aside from that, works perfectly.

not a big fan of this keyboard personally... the keycaps are rather large, and a couple of the buttons arent where im used to them being. otherwise, it works like any other keyboard, but its also lighter than normal. the clicks are really rough and sounds harsh when trying to play.

Son wanted a mechanical backlit keyboard for gaming, so I decided on this item. He's quite happy with it. It's not as loud as other mechanical keyboards, and he's always playing with the lighting for it. The only downside I see is that it doesn't have the 10 key pad at the edge. But my son doesn't care, so I don't care. Very happy with this item. Will update if any issues arise. ... show more
